shoulder feeling better

I been taking it easy and doing rehab on my shoulder for about 4 weeks now. I have not done anything that hurts it, or touched heavy weight. It's been hard, but I managed to get some good leg and abs in.

This morning I hit chest and tris I didn't go all out but I tested the waters just to see. I went all day without any pain in my shoulder except for the dull feeling that I always feel. No pain though.
I'm just curious if I should start getting back into my routine.

You can, but make sure you are smart and patient about getting back into it. I had two shoulder surgeries and my biggest mistake was getting back to heavy lifting too quickly. Remember it's a marathon not a sprint.

Yes very, but you got to have long term vision.

I babied the rotation for a year slowing building back strength. One day, tweaked the rotator with 5 lb weight while doing a side plank. So random.

A year later I was recovering from rotator cuff surgery.

Wow that sucks. I'm assuming after cuff surgery you can't lift anything. That must really be frustrating.

I had re-injured and then had to have RC surgery. RC physical therapy is intense. It takes months and months.

Does it still bother you on certain exercises?

Rarely and only when doing incline DB flys. I always tip the weight up on the extension to get that little extra pause at the top. That rotation is touchy.

Well I'm glad to hear your better now. I just need to work on heeling and strengthening mine,and then I hope I'll be ok. I'm starting to understand that's it's gonna take awhile.

I pushed it a little harder this week. Shoulder still feels ok. Every no and then it aches right after I wake up but it quickly goes away. I'm off to hit chest now. Gotta be careful though.
