Raced a motocross race today!!
I raced a motocross race for the first time in 5 years today. I forgot how much I missed it. I use to ride/race all the time but have taken a few years off because of life and trying to live the bodybuilding lifestyle. I'm hoping I can work racing back into my life without it affecting my training. I tell you what I can still ride pretty well for a 6'2" 220lb dude lol

I think I'm going to try to work it back into my life. Training really is my number one priority these days but it felt great to be back out there. Plus it's one hell of a forearm and cardio workout lol.

I seem to remember you mentioning you did motocross before. Sounds like fun.
Ill stick to 4 wheels. I even have a problem staying up on 4.

Yeah man I love it... Use to be a huge part of my life. Actually made a few passes and lead the race for a bit but then my lack of endurance showed and I got passed by three guys lol. I had a blast but I'm hurting today lol

Motocross is fun as hell. I used to race some in the early through mid 80s. And at that time bikes and equipment were advancing at such a rapid pace that without a sponsor it cost a fortune just to stay competitive. I'm sure it's out of sight now too!

Hahahaha please don't!!! I'm already feeling old with this house my girlfriend and I just bought.... Growing up sucks! But it can be rewarding in some ways.
Strongblood- the cost of this sport today is insane. New bikes are around 7k. That's why I'm rocking a ten year old two stroke. Makes you feel even better when you beat people who spend thousands of dollars on bikes and equipment lol

Nice YB
Few buds of mine raced back in the day. That was when McGrath was a big timer.

Nope I love it... Can't beat the smell of race fuel and castor oil. Those fuel injected four strokes are hard to beat though...

Oh I agree, that smell takes me back every time. Reminds me of high test for RC and U control airplanes. Some smells trigger memories like that. Ive had flashbacks to sitting on the school bus because of a smell. Yeah that was probably the school uniform of the girl last week.
4 strokes have come a LONG way. I remember when they first started showing up on the track and everyone said they would never be able to compete with a 2-stroke.
