    Muscle Beach/Venice things to do?

    Hey

    I'm headed out to make the pilgrimage to Venice Gold's and Muscle Beach this weekend. What is there to do other than workout at muscle beach, golds and the boardwalk?

    Anyone know of the usual times that some of the pros workout, like Dexter or Hide?

    Grab a seat at one of the outdoor cafes and watch the freaks go by.You will get plenty of laughs.I was there about 1980 went too Golds and saw Platz Lyle Alazado and Met Mike Christian beacuse I gave his brother a ride.He was a real nice guy.

    Are there stil big bodybuilders at Venice beach/ Muscles beach gym??...Apart from Oxygen gym it looks like those michelinguys from the 90s are all gone. All over the world. Sad.

    I need some plans for my next trip next summer because Olympic Beach Gym at Grand Canaria was a nigthmare. Sounded real nice, but when i got there, just a couple of skinny african guys were working out. In the scandinavia all there is left are fitnessguys with sixpack and i guess its the same story in Spain, Germany, France and Italy. And i guess Marcus is the only one left in UK and for sure i will not use my holiday talking to him.
    And there is no way im gonna take a plane to the middle east these days, even if Oxygen Gym looks like a million.
