Falling asleep driving.
Ok. This is not steroid related, this is a constant battle for me. My work is a mofo. Physically demanding as hell, always will be. I travel 1 to 2 hours to different job sites and every day when I start to leave, 15 min in shit goes black and I fall asleep literally with my eyes open. If it were not for red Bull I would be dead long ago. Why? Sleep quantity does not change it. If I am active and I sit down..... xo. I get so damn lathargic! The other day I came to going 20mph in a 70mph. Wtf! Irritating as hell

I always thought falling asleep behind the wheel was a joke until it nearly happened to me once.. I suggest loud music open up your windows and if all else fails, snort a line of crushed up Adderall...

You need to investigate if you suffer from sleep apnea.

My friend fell asleep. His friend was passenger and his dudes girlfriend was In the back seat. He smoked a little weed. I think. And was on anti depressants. ..he rolled the car over a concrete barrier. and the girl broke her back and died. He got 5 years in prison. No joke

As a X over the road truck driver I had to fight that often. This may sound crazy but it worked.I would talk to myself out loud.Sometimes getting myself so pissed off I was sweating. But when you leave Orlando Fl 6am Sat and are in Seattle Wa Tuesday Morning before the sun comes up you need a gimmick and that worked for me.That trip was 3150 pay miles so you can add 10% to that.Drivers always get screwed.

I was hoping you would reply. I used to drive for a living, bout 5 years, and the only way I could stay awake was to eat 10 ephedrine sometimes. I escaped that profession with a healthy prostate somehow. Hell I used to literally leak semen when I shit after a hard week. Now though I am different. This shit just creeps up like a vail over my face and it just gets dark. Sometimes I can drink two 20 Oz red bulls and still have this prob. Been like this ever since I left the trucking industry and started working on my feet.

Does the time of day matter? Does it typically happen around or a little after noon?

Used to happen all the time thank god my car had a auto correct feature that would put me back on the road and start beeping a bunch..it was a new Lexus don't know if there in all cars..I used to think it was blood sugar levels even though iam not a diabetic the combined hard workouts and the low blood glucose levels after would sometimes make me so tired when I was driving I'd nap off for a sec..scary

Yeah I thought about blood sugar too. Never had strange levels though. One of my good friends is diabetic and I have watched him have spells similar. It's just literally like a wave that hits me and I will just go off somewhere. Like a sedative. Once it gets in you it just creeps over you and wins. BAAH HUMBUG...

I keep ammonia capsules at the ready for when I drive home after working the night shift. Wakes me right up in an instant.
