Attachment 166682 She is a wierd one. She slept sitting up reclined on her back for a long time. I just personally sewed up the leg of the yellow mutt next to her. She got into it with a raccoon and lost pretty bad. I put 5 or 6 stitches in her leg hide where it was laid open. I did pretty good for a non-vet. It may have been a dick move but Im not about to pay a vet $800 for that crap. Yellow dog hated me. Now that I stitched her up she likes me.

I don't blame you a bit my wife normally stitches up all of my friends dogs when they need it. Barb wire fences and raccoons get a little rough on the dogs during pheasant season.

Thats cool. I never really even had the need to do so before but it was simple. An old vet in town comes to the bar my girlfriend tends. We get along good so I asked him for a suture and he didnt stutter. He told me to sterilize the wound with eye drops before hand. Pretty cool guy. Being a redneck has its perks, we do whatever needs done ourselves if humanly possible.w

If you do have to stitch it again use monofilament fishing line,it pulls out easy and won't grow into the wound.

Off subject but I actually watched my mom put 4 stitches in the top of her own foot with mono fishing line. She pulled them out a few days later and it was the cleanest scar I've ever seen.

In Norway we are not allowed to keep pits, staffs, dogo argentinos, fila brazileros or tosas.
Thats because some motherfuckers who should never be allowed to keep a rat, are attracted to those rases.

But i think the Canaries are stil allowed though. Seen a couple of canari dogge defence youtubeclips and it matches every pit i ever saw.

They arent allowed here in my town either. They are banned by city ordinance. So we tell everyone its a boxer mix. If they try to take it or make me get rid of it then I tell them they best get ready to pay for k-9 dna testing. Its their job to prove me guilty, and this little town won't be affording a dna test anytime soon. Lol

At any given time on any day... I am in violation of 15 or so misdemeanor crime laws. Luckily the U.S. has so many fucking laws only about 2% are actually enforced.

There was a breed ban here but its gone now.

Basically any dog that looked bully was a pit, and not allowed

Their laws dont hold water. If they say its a pit and you say its not then its their job to prove it is. One town I lived in listed a pitbull as "any dog having aggressive tendancies".
Some of the dip shit city councils around couldn't write an ordinance to save their asses. All these cities are beatable it just costs a little bit.

You know the problem with this?

    Statistics

If the dog looks pit (short hair stocky bulbous head) its a pit. And any bite these mixes do. Is classed under pit bull bites.

So we have 50 different dogs looking like pits, classed as pit bites.

Were labs are just labs, their bite stats are just compiled from one pure breed.

But in the case of pits, its 50 different breeds.

That's why they tend to be a little higher.

If it was truly pits and staffs only it would be much much lower.

Even given the stats now, they are just slightly higher than single breed stats

I agree. According to any laws a damn chihuahua, (think that how you spell it) should be considered the most vicious. I have seen more of them draw blood on humans than all other breeds combined. It is like anything, the media an dumb people turn pits into something they are not.

I've been bit, by chihuahuas, golden retrievers, and humped by a rott.

Never nothing but kisses from pits

So our pitbull got spayed by a skunk so it had to sleep outside for a couple nights because the baths didnt get the smell out. Now this dog is having nightmares barking and growling and whining in its sleep. Haha we turned this thing into a big pussy lol!

Just something pretty cool about dogs is the fact that they dream and vividly too... kinda special.
