Does your lady regulate the shaving of your face?

Does anyone let their woman tell them when to shave? Mine will tell me not to shave when stubble pokes her, she gets mad. I say "I'm gonna go shave" and she flips, "No gawdam don't shave"! So... is this just me? I hate not shaving, people look at me like I am less than I feel like. They seem more afraid, less likely to do business if I am not shaved.
My former employer said I looked more professional shaved. So whats the general consensus... do you adapt your facial hair to your womans needs?

She will be very happy the day I shave it off.

My girl and I have recently got back together so I let it grow for her, she likes it..I still trim it with a 3 guard and maintain it like crazy ..not really into long beard I prefer 5 o clock shadow..

That's what I get, it feels like 220 grit sandpaper

I pretty much can shave in the morning and have a shadow by 5.

Just shaved off my beard of 2.5 months, I look 10 years younger

At first the wife was against the beard. Now she tolerates it. It doesn't poke her if I let it grow long enough. I use beard balm. She says its soft. When you shave wit a razor the hair is cut at an angle, making it very sharp for a couple weeks. Over time, and with some conditioner in there, no more pain.
