I ordered free roaming Bison steak

So, I've been intrigued by Bison meat after reading about it. Higher protein content than chicken, and leaner than chicken and it's supposed to taste awesome. I never tried it before so I'm excited and nervous at the same time. HAHA I'm NOT one to experiment with food. I love chicken and steak and basically grill both with a splash of pepper and that's it. I'm a very bland eater and it drives my wife INSANE.

I ordered from: Order Grass Fed Buffalo / Bison Meat Online - Wild Idea Buffalo

It arrives on Thursday so if it thaws by Friday evening I will be eating like a king this weekend. HAHA I won't eat it all this weekend but planning on adding it once or twice a week. I ordered their Get Fit Bundle and it even comes with Buffalo Jerky. Hopefully, I don't rip my teeth out with it. haha

Bison is good eating it's a lot leaner than beef (less marbling) but has good flavor.
We have a lot of bison farms in my area.
Compares a lot to wild game if it's grass fed only.

I've had bison filets (grass fed) a couple of times. We have a seller @ the farmer 's market by us. Grilled them similar to regular filets, taste great. Only objection is cost - think they ran over $25/pound.

I've had it at a nice steakhouse and it is awesome! Better than chicken and just a leaner cut of steak with the taste...

Ted Turner has I think the largest Bison ranch in the US.
Teds Montana Grill is his and they serve Bison. Love it hate the cost.
On The Boarder restaurant had a Bison fajitas for a while. Melt in your mouth.
