A lot of details that we'd have to know to form any sort of opinion. I'm hesitant to condone tuning a guy up in that situation for a number of reasons. Firstly, do you know he hit her for sure? I have been accused for hitting ex's and had angry boyfriends come at me when nothing happened. It's a very common tactic women use to play the victim and get sympathy or get back at an ex. It is extremely common now for women to claim false abuse / rape stories because of the connotation of those words and what they can benefit out of it.
Secondly, you get nothing out of it other than you feel good for a few minutes at first. Then you can go to jail, or have his friends jump you after. Maybe they have guns and this guy is pissed. So unless someone's safety was in immediate danger I'd probably stand back, think and make sure that is 100% the road you want to go down.
As long as your motivation for beating a guy up goes beyond your ego, looking macho in front of a girl and rage at the moment (not saying it is but a consideration to make).
That's my 2 cents

Its over now. Yes glad I did it. Yes know he did it because the same was said by other women and the one I am with has seen the darkside a lot worse than with this guy. She is not that kind. Most of the girls at any given bar will say their ex beat them. This girl would say the exact samebabout most of these girls "they have never been hit by any man".
There is no doubt and this is not this guys first accuser by a damn sight. He will make himself scarce in my town from now on or he wont beg his way out.

Sounds like he definitely could have done it but unless you see for yourself it's impossible to know. Probably did from what you said but was pointing out that accusations can be untrue a lot of the time in this day and age. Can always file a police report which is probably the right path if he did hit her. Would get him punished without anything happening to you

I will take my chances kicking the fuck out of him. Of course no one will see it. If I saw it he would not eat solid foods for two months or might never go home again. Legal punishment would be domestic dispute charges he would walk on and probably go home and hit his girlfriend.
No judge jury or jail. The way he begged I know he did it. He comes around aagain and he wont walk away.

Dude I saw my life flash before my eyes.
It took hours for me to stop my heart from racing. Almost took a Remington golden saber to the face.
I woke her up with pellet gun bee stings in the leg.
The next day she left, that was 2012. Never heard from her again.
Was with her for 10 years. Living together to.
We both got clean together, fights were over her 'cheating' on sobriety by beating pain meds n suboxones.
I'd get random calls from people "when's xXxX going to give me the 25$ she owes me".
I never slipped up, she was putting my sobriety in jeopardy.
In her defense, she's been exposed to it since age 8, mother was a crackhead and h user. She even found her mother dead when she was 14.
I felt bad took her in, it was good for 7 to 8 years, those last few were brutal

Yeah I almost took a broadhead to the face. Still feel bad I let it get that far.
