    Finally quit cigarettes

Well today is day 2 no smokes no patches (48 successful hours no smokes, going on day 3).

I have struggled badly, I even smoked during my first and only cycle so far. (I think it held me back big time).

Anyway my no has been high during and after cycle, until today. Its closely getting back to were I like it.

    106/76 pulse 55
After my coffee I checked again
    100/72 pulse 62

    Yay for me.

Plus ill save $200 a month.

Congratz, best thing I did in 2010.

After 3 days all the desires you feel about cigs are psychological, not physical.

Oh I know. I smoked in my sleep even.

I am happy to give it up.

More oxygen to muscle, less cancer risk, safer probability of cycling, more endurance, more money.

I been extremely cancer paranoid lately.

My minds works with worst case scenario

"What if I already have a spud of cancer brewing in my lungs and its too late"

    I'm done for sure.

I was waiting to quit to start a clen cut. Which I feel would be unsafe while smoking.

Also the clen after cigs can bring my metabolism up to counter act the dip in metabolic function stopping takes on you.

    Win win, no?

Good, now keep it up. I never touched that shit because my mother died at 43 years old due to smoking and my dad now suffers from COPD. He's on oxygen and can't even walk 5 steps without nearly passing out.

    Well done,

but you know that inhaling any product of combustion and not just cigs is deleterious for health, right?

Myself I started cigs at 13 and quit smoking habitually at 17, but I still have one once in a while.

I vape my herbal oils and flowers, no combustion.

    Or do edibles, topicals,etc.

Congrats man. I know it's rough going right now but it'll be worth it.

Both of my parents died of lung cancer. Both smoked. Trust me man it's not a pretty sight. I tried smoking for about a week in my teens and just couldn't get into it. You'll do fine.

One thing that helped me the most was the hand to mouth motion. Example: when I'd stop at a red light id crack the window then pretend to smoke a cigarette. I'd even blow out the window. Just the familiarity of it was enough.

I quit after smoking for 18 years, 1 to 2 pack per day. Best thing I ever did for myself. Hang in there, it gets easier...

Yes, I'm only fiending for them after meals and while driving.

Other than that, I'm chewing the shut out of gum

Buy a cheap vaporizer man. Its the best thing I have done of late. It gets you through but its not the same so some days I barely even use it. I can also run again which was why I quit in the first place. My lung capacity is great now and it has improved my workouts greatly.

^that kept me going back every time she'd light one I was tempted and eventually she'd go nuts and I'd smoke to keep myself sane. I got rid of her and the need for smokes.

Yeah, like Red said it will be difficult.

It's normal for both to smoke.

Going on 6 days, I'm starting to really drool about them.

Its like I can smell them a Mile away, line a cartoon character floating to the smell of a hot fresh apple pie on the window sill

Did you go cold turkey? Or did you use the patch or gum?

For sure, in a few days you will not be able to stand the smell of her when she comes from smoking. This will put stress in your relation...
