Accepted to nursing school!
I just got accepted to the only nursing school to which I applied!
Happy for 2 reasons (primarily):
1-I don't have to pursue a masters in psychology.
2-Exit plan. It's nice to leave but it's nicer to leave for something better.

Congrats dude! Do you know the line of weeks m work you'd like to get into? ICU was so depressing for me. U really enjoy home health, as I can set my own hours/patients. It can still be depressing, but is very rewarding. Hospice is terrible!

Thanks everyone!
Yeah, I'd really like to work in ER. I've been told its hard to get into. My hope is to go to NY or another metropolitan area. I've read that the ratio of college educated women o men in many urban centers is around 20%-40% more women. If I work in the ER for a while, I may go back o school for a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner.

Always wanted to be a nurse but I was always better at computers so I geeked out for 15 years and then switched to a fitness profession. Truly happy for you, it's a great profession!
