We've been spied on by our govt for many years. Nothing new. It pisses me off, I know that. Land of the free my butt. Its like when people still think we're a democracy. The US hasn't been a democracy in over a hundred years. The rich and powerful run our country. Not us "little people".

As far as I'm aware you can still call your ISP and opt-out of their ability to sell your electronic information.

I've used vpn.ht to connect for a long time now. I don't trust much...and VPNs do protect a larger percentage of traffic if used properly and supported in p2p fashion well.

TOR is already a den of thieves. Unless you're a power user, your basically a convenient target...

We have never been a Democracy. We are a Federal Republic, that was set up to consist of sovereign States. With a small federal government to take care of the common interests.

If your in a State that hasn't signed up to participate in a Convention of the States, petition now. That is the only way to take back control and limit the monsterous federal government size.
