It's really best to discuss things like this via PM. However, many primary care Drs. will prescribe it w/o too much hassle.
There are several reputable overseas pharmacies, but again, most primary care Drs. will at least throw you some samples to see how Ambien works you, provided it isn't contraindicated by any other meds you may take.

Edit. Don't fall for PMs from people that you wouldn't deal with. You've only been here a few months, but you'll get to know others.

There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

I didn't mention that i have taken ambien in the past for 13 yrs (while i was a cop working night shift). Developed PTSD, forced to resign, deeply depressed, several suicide attempts with pills and major alcohol abuse. Since then, I've been sober for 2 years, no mental health issues, living healthy, working out, good family life etc.
So, due to my past, i cannot get prescribed by my docs. Also have sleep apnea.
So, i usually am awake for 3 days at a time then crash for 14 or so hours... it is obviously exhausting and not healthy and not very conducive with training.

I'm pretty sure I remember reading a few people murdered other people in real life when they thought they were in a dream while they were taking ambien lol.

20mins of meditation before bedtime might help.

Ambien is nearly the strongest thing to put you asleep, although a friend of mine years ago was bitten by a dog and they gave him Rohypnol to sleep.

Ive tried trazadone, lunesta, geodon, thorazine, remeron, benadryl, melatonin, vistaril, neurontin, seraquil, respridol, depakote, and probably a few others but to date ambien was the ONLY substance that has ever helped me go to and stay sleep for a lengthy duration and able to wake up feeling refreshed.

Which state do you live in? There's a buddhist group that does 10 days of silence. Should sleep quite handily after that.

OP- you need to seek prof medical advice. I see only bad coming from staying awake 3 days at a clip with ptsd.
self medicating can be very dangerous.

    good luck, be safe.

This is not the correct forum for that. We are not an open source board for pharmaceuticals.

Asking this type of question makes you an easy target to be scammed and ripped off.

I don't get a damn thing out of meditation because I always fall asleep half way through it.

Zquil works for me every night. Lucky I guess. Now I do take double the recommended dose.

I use to use Nyquil (I think that's the canadian version of Zzquil?) and Benadryl to stay asleep through my back pain early in my injury.

Discovered a gem that has worked significantly better. It's called Natural Calm. Powder that is mixed with water.

    Combination of :

    Ionic Magnesium
    Melatonin
    Suntheanine
    GABA

Could work for you as a natural alternative?. My sleep routine is Sauna > Calm drink to rehydrate > shower > out like a light.

The extra tough days I do cheat a bit though and add 2.5 mg of Statex and 8mg of Codeine.

Different. NyQuil is for cold and flu. Zquil is just for sleep. They both will put you to sleep. Zquil you wake up refreshed. No cloud like NyQuil.

Nothing puts me to sleep like ambien. No hangover, absolutely nothing to tell it wasn't 'natural.' Diphenhydramine helps me sleep longer but I still have to manage to get to sleep.

Ugh... I would like to try rohyp on some girls...

I vaguely remember them catching a couple of guys in L.A. I believe it was... These guys were having parties at their place, then towards the end of the night slipping it to some unsuspecting hot chicks; then it was "game on". Of course, "game over" (along with 20 yrs in the slammer) when they got busted. These dumbasses had video and pictures... Ha Ha Ha!!! Boys will be boys...

On a serious note: Best to seek professional medical advice on this one. I can imagine, as doctors are in bed with big pharma, that you won't have trouble finding an "ethical" doctor to give you what you want (anything you want). Good luck!!!

Fun fact, in a lot of clinical trials of Big Pharma, placebo groups beat out the control group. Even heavy drugs like antipsychotics, benzos, mood stabilizers etc

Almost makes you wonder if they could sell sugar pills for even higher profits. Even at one lawsuit per year they still come ahead.

Get a sleep study done. They will also prescribe ambien/zopedem if you want to use it instead or or before you try the CPAP. I could not use the CPAP. Turns out most of my problem is with fibromyalgia, not really sleep apnea even though the symptoms are similar. I also shift work, graveyard 8pm - 8am so that doesnt help. I only take 1/2 ambien most of the time and it works fine.

Ive looked online in the past and never found any place I trusted and the price was $$$. Try alternatives first if possible.
