From what I have read, the hammer was brought down because they were selling generic drugs (slightly altered) cheaper than prescription, circumventing the fda entirely and taking money out of fatcat pharma companies.
Let this be a lesson, make sure your competitors don't have billions.
The indictment is getting propagandized with, "the drugs were being manufactured in an unsanitary house in belieze".
This is about money like all things. Not public safety.
