Every branch is the same more or less except the Navy but here's a list of ranking officers.

General of the Army
Army Chief of Staff
General
Lieutenant General
Major General
Brigadier General
Colonel
Lieutenant Colonel
Major
Captain
1st Lieutenant
2nd Lieutenant

Since I was a Lieutenant, and I was overlooked for several chances at advancement I'll except Major.

Actually it will be nothing more than oath swearing your life for the good of the Gestapo....yadda, yadda,.......cut tip of finger.......blood in cup............drink....... repeat chant........*poof*.... a Gestapo foot soldier. Becoming an Officer is a bit more harsh and lasts over a span of a few days.
