    WEIGHT loss cults

Whats your opinion on these places?

    Slimmingworld
    Weightwatchers
    Fatfighters

Whatever they are called, weekly classes with a public weigh in and lots of brand food.

Have saw lots of people use with success but i love to hate them.

Focussed on weight loss not fat loss.

I think it has to do more with group accountability. Everyone knows deep down that eat less and burn more and you drop weight.

I am not a big fan of these groups, I have a sister in law that has probably spent $10,000 to lose the same 60lbs in the last 8 years. If you are not willing to change your lifestyle permanently you will just gain it back.
She had gone as far as to have surgery to remove part of her stomach this last January, she has lost 80 lbs and looks like complete garbage. Of course there was no exercise done just starving herself from the surgery.

I have been through all this with my wife also. I believe you have to be accountable to yourself not other people.
Those people aren't going to be there every time you want to shove a snickers in your mouth.

You're not worried about losing muscle? Losing weight is a breeze if you don't care what the weight is. Don't eat and run

Average people give average try and come out with average results. Then they bitch about being average and "how hard it is for me". I bet it is a real bitch being average. Thank God I made the decision to be exceptional. Easiest thing I ever did really.

    Lets see....
    Bullet to brainpan?
    Or...
    Improve with all my efforts?

There are guys with both legs and an arm or two blown off that workout everyday, but for some reason the person stuffing their face with McDonalds and Dominoes expects sympathy for their low end mediocrity, and lack of willpower.

    Right.
Oh shit I am getting all teared up thinking about those poor individuals without self control and discipline. They have it so much worse than that vet doing cable rows with his teeth because he has no arms to work anymore.

^^^ btw to my last post,
I am very thankful I have no injuries and understand the pure torture it is to be injured. I don't know what I would do if I was hurt right now. Those guys and gals with amputations at the gym every day can teach everyone about motivation.

May anyone with injury recover quick and may we all lift safe.
