    Exactly where I get it and Iím 100% sure itís shrugs. I donít get it using dbís but when I use a bb. Mrs.BG gets it in the same spot, I have no idea why

    I started doing individual arm shrugs with cables, along with dumbbell shrugs. I had to get creative when I hurt my back.

    Do you not find a neck strain when doing single arm shoulder movements?

    So far I haven't, but I've been doing shoulder rehab type exercises on cables for couple years now, that may have something to do with it.
    I like single arm shrugs also because it puts half the weight on my bad discs

    I seen a guy at the gym do single arm shrugs o the smith machine. I tried it out and it works really well. You stand perpendicular to the bar, grab it with a neutral grip and shrug

    I have tried this and have found if you put any semi-heavy weight on the bar it kills my elbows... I find I have to use a lot of bicep to keep my elbow from hyper extending.
