Anyone have any experience with synthol in calves??
My calves are horrible. They measure just barely 15”. And I am 6’2” with 17.5” arms. I’ve managed to put roughly 1/2” on them since I started training them about two years ago.
At first just like everyone else I tacked a few pathetic calf raises to the end of my leg workout. When I realized that wasn’t enough I gave them their own day. I use to take weekends off from the gym but I now make a special trip there just to destroy my calves. And I train them like a mad man... harder than any other body part using every intense training technique you can think of.
When I leave the gym I have trouble pushing the gas/brake pedal on my vehicle.
But no matter how hard I train them week after week, or how many cycles I do, they will not grow.
I’m pretty insecure about them... however I don’t wear pants year round or in the gym to cover them up.. I own up to it.. but it bothers me very much. I could be in the gym training arms and look in the mirror and have the best pump and awesome looking arms but I’ll instantly look down at my calves and how small they are in comparison and then just feel terrible... like I’m that guy who skips legs. I feel they have completely taken the wind out of my sail for getting bigger... I feel like I already look stupidly out of proportion so if I got bigger I would just look even dumber.
Has anyone here used synthol in their calves? I hear it is extremely painful and you can’t walk for weeks. I’m just wondering if anyone can share their experience with it or has any information on it and how it’s done.
As you can see, this bothers me enough to the point where I’m writing this on Christmas Eve lol

Imo, I would rather have skinny calves (i do) than synthol. Bust them calves every day and they will grow. Nach3 has a mix ratio of aas and carrier oil he has used to help break the muscle bag and continue growth on his biceps. I am sure it would be painful but much better than synthol. I would pm him about it.

Me and dave posted at the same time.
Also I will add that if you are sensitive to propionate like I am... Never shoot your calves with it.
I was limping well over a month because of a round of prop in the calves when I was 22

SEO does not work that way . you can't use it to put on mass and size to a lagging muscle group . its site ENHANCEMENT oil . its for a bodybuilder with a good well rounded physique to put the 'cherry on top' and finish off a few parts of his physique (e.g, get the rear delts to pop a bit more) . you do NOT use it to add mass and bring up a body part that needs more muscle.

I know synthol doesn’t build muscle. From my understanding the reason some people have a difficult time building calves is the fascia around the muscle is very tight and that hinders growth. It really all comes down to genetics... I know people who have never set foot in a gym who have amazing calves. Everyone can improve to a point and I believe that point has been reached with me.
From what I’ve heard synthol will stretch the fascia and while you use aas and hard training to grow muscle tissue.
If not synthol, then what else could I possibly do that I haven’t been doing over the past couple years??? Implants are not really an option as the price would be more than I could afford and I don’t believe they look very good.

calf genetics depend a lot on the insertion point of the calf. the lower down the insertion point is the bigger you can grow your calf, the higher up on the leg the calf muscle begins means growth is going to be harder (genetically limited)
the bottom of my calf is the insertion point . now imagine if that insertion point was an inch lower and closer down towards the ankle, then the over all size of my calf would likely be bigger as well.
so keep that in mind. if your insertion point is low then there is hope for you to add a lot more mass (I like to do 800 pound calf raises on the smith machine to help add some mass, lifting fairly heavy in the 12 rep range). if your insertion point is fairly high up then your better off just trying to shape and define what you have, as mass will be difficult to add

My insertion point is extremely high.... I unfortunately don’t have a lot to work with. I’ve put on minimal size but they are definitely more defined than they have ever been. A lot of veins I’ve never seen before are now visible. But there’s still the problem of me being unproportional.
I wish I had your calves gearheaded!!!!

Yes I've used synthol before but I would not recommend it in the calves IMHO. I would also not recommend it if you haven't thrown everything you can at that body part to make it grow. I would say its the last option if you really wanted to use a SEO but under certain protocols you can make progress with a lagging muscle group with SEO but I wouldn't really recommend it

It’s just really getting to me... I don’t even want to get any bigger because of how unproportional I will look. But with all the horror stories I hear of people not being able to walk for weeks when using synthol or the 100s of injections you need to do to get results makes me want to avoid it.

Got to work them real hard. I do what gear headed said. Work up to some crazy high weight for calf raises. Focus on the concentric. You can also go slightly less weight and do them on a box, i personally think the negative on calves is very important. When doing those i pause at bottom, squeeze at top, going really slow.
In any case, whatever weight i end up with. I usually do some stupid drop set from the highest weight. Strip the plates down to the bar. Doing reps to failure at each increment

I’m doing all of that. The mind-muscle connection I have with them is very good and the intensity is through the roof. I literally show up to the gym just to train calves and nothing else. They are my worst body part so I make every single rep of every single set count.

YB I remember doing doggcrapp style calf raises and getting better results a long time ago and will go back to this style. DC is big on extreme stretching and for calves it's about stretching in-between reps. Slow negative and 10-15 second stretch at the bottom, pulling your toes towards the shin to get max stretch. There might be something about calves being too tight for many people.

Overweight people =Great calves
Sprinters=Great calves
But since there are less receptors generally on those areas, using AAS does get you the way your describing.
