It’s a 328xi I tried to get manual but the ones I found were beat to $hit so I settled for automatic because the car was in such great shape. I can’t honestly say I’ve ever used a car to get girls. I might actually replace the headlights or have someone restore them that along with the side view mirrors are virtually the only cosmetic defects.

I dont really know how to use a car to get girls either. Most of them dont even know what a “beamer” is. Are there guys out there cat calling women at red lights in fancy cars and they just jump in? Lol

Nice!ive had a few evo’s including one I had built to 848 hp..had a lot of nice cars and girls def flock to them..the question is, are those the type of girls you really wanna mess with?I like a challenge,a nice girl rather catch one in the gym or a bookstore over in a parking lot because I have a nice car..what happens when guy pulls up in a Ferrari?you lose your girl.

The new diesel Bimmers are astonishing. 450 lb-ft of Q, sub-6-second 0-60, and 35+ mpg driving the dog-shit out of it. And that's before you hack the fuel mapping. And no noise to let on it's an oil-burner.
I was checking out WWI German fighters in the Smithsonian Air & Space wing and saw why BMW's L6 is so good. The straight 6 with 120° crank throws is the simplest possible engine layout with perfect primary and secondary harmonics. And BMW has been perfecting that design literally for more than 100 years.
1917 BMW IIIa engine, used in Fokkers and Junkers and a bunch more. They'd even already started using the iconic Blau Mit Weiss roundel, still in use to this day, which harkens back to the company's aircraft origins and is supposed to symbolize a spinning propeller.
But if you're buying cars to pick up chicks, you're wasting money. Harleys are cheaper and more effective.

only if you hit a pothole.
then you've got s bubble or rip in sidewall and or a bend lip on rim. which will need bent back with a soft hammer
I've had low pros completely ruin the bead from bent lip. forever had a slow leak.
I believe in factory series tires only.
I've had retarded big rims with rubber bands, decently sized 20s with 45-50 series tires.
nothing rides like factory baby

Yeah the 35 series tires are a little rough on bumps but the car holds the road much better now with the wider sport tires.

How old are you guys? Cars are just for transportation. I always bitch at my son ... your 32 years old you don't need that damn thumping base in a car. Just joking nice cars, but if you really want speed and fun get one of theses ... will destroy about any car out there. I have a 328i that is my daily driver.

Didn't mean to hijack this thread the bike I posted was a BMW S1000. The 1000cc sport bikes stock off the show room floor are totally ridiculous. It all started in 2010 when BMW released the S1000 with 180 HP at the rear wheel with 4 traction control modes and ABS brakes. I had to have one so I sold my limited edition 2006 R1 and got one. Unbelievable what the electronics on that bike can do. I probably would not have crashed at Road America and broke my neck if I would have had the BMW.
Anyway the stock bikes are now pushing 200 HP which is about 20 more than the AMA superbikes back around 2005. Modified bikes for the drag strip could push 500HP pretty easily. I am waiting for the government to start regulating these bikes.
Here is the bike that changed everything in 2010, my first S1000. You either love or hate the acid green! I loved it.Last edited by bethdoth; 03-21-2018 at 06:02 AM.

A lorry unfortunately hit my e90 330 about a fortnight ago and I am struggling to find one in the same great condition. Thankfully we seem to have a fair amount of manuals here. I can't ever quite decide how I feel about black wheels, hmmm.
Tempting to consider a newer one, but I'm also looking at the e90 335is to see if I might get an upgrade.

Yeah, thank goodness it's easter break and I have three weeks off from school stuff and I thought I would come and see what's happening here! How are you, Kel?
I've been looking at cars non stop for two weeks, and then I come here and the first thing I see is a photo of a beemer. I do love car shopping though, I won't lie!

I had the same thing happen with a Porsche 951 I'd spent two years researching and shopping for. Near-perfect condition with all the 'right' mods, then some uninsured illegal alien centerpunched it into the scrap yard. I bought an E36 328i to drive while I was looking but never found another 944T I could fall in love with so I ended up keeping the Bimmer.
