    Hedius lifestyle of Guitarzan

After being pressured (lol) to start my own thread, here we go. I'll be posting progress pics of my journey to get in shape, and posting on the crazy stuff I do daily. Like building fireworks, my 520 hp jeep project, starting another band, large construction projects my company does and so on

Right now I'm 212 lbs, just under 20% bf. Not too bad for a 45 year old recent fat ass! I weighed around 286 June of last year

Technically, I just replaced the foam that's glued to the cone, and clamped to the frame. That's s pretty good little job since it has two cones. I use to have the sub in a boat, and it Had a lot of corrosion, so I had to clean it up.

If there was a lot of corrosion on it I'm willing to bet the pole piece is probably covered oh, it's the piecee in the ferrite magnet that the coil rides on

the w7 is a competing sound quality sub. not a spl comp sub, although they can serve that purpose but not as good as a spl "mud motor" or "one note wonder"

these image dynamics IDMAX subs are on par with jl w7 sound quality and pressure
    Attachment 172294
    Attachment 172295

and these Rockford T3s1 19" are just god damn ridiculous I heard one a few months back strapped on a cactus sounds 7k amp. it was unreal

    Attachment 172296
    Attachment 172297

then there's these type just make air "spl one note wonders" sundown nightshade

Holy crap, those are some serious subs! The electrolysis anti corrosion system on the boat wasn't working, and it got wet. It was so bad, the 8ga speaker wire (in the speaker box) corroded in half in less than a year!
Sounds like you are ediucated on audio, maybe you can help me figure some of this out!

Finally got the ole fat meter to read under 18%. I got serious about getting into shape one June 8th last year, and set a goal to be down to 18% bf by this June 8th. Didn't have the meter when I first started, but I'm guessing I was over 35%. My average reading is 18.5%, I'm gonna bust my goal wide open!

Got a few fireworks in the shop! This is about a tenth of it, got several 40' semi trailers full. Was planning to open a fireworks super warehouse, but got tired of trying to deal with govt regulations.
