People you work with that you cant stand

I have calmed down some now but yesterday and today I wanted to take a tire iron to this young buck who thinks he knows everything. Been working all day fixing his paperwork nightmare. There is nothing that pisses me off more than someone that trys to tell me my job that does not even know the specs / guidelines. Then when I tried to walk away from the little fucker he kept following me around trying to argue or getting out his phone.

What items are hot buttons for you working with other people at work? Is it me or is this young generation full of know it alls that have to be right about everything?

I don't put up with their crap if they're a punk/smartass. I tell them they have no business in the shop, they need to get back to their work area, mention they don't know their ass from third base, and send them on their way talking to theirself.
Have sent quite a few out of the shop and away from what I was working on over the years. They go complain to management, and invariably are told to listen to what I say and stay the fvck out of my way.
Conversely, if it's a young/inexperienced kid wanting to learn, I'll help them along as long as they are honestly wanting to learn or have a legit question. It's one of the few times I manage to display a little patience.
On the other hand, I have no sympathy, respect, or use for lazy slackers that do the absolute minimum and try to climb up their boss's @ss. Those type can all go piss up a rope.

Their is this one motherfucker at my job I cannot stand. I would fire his ass in a heartbeat if he wasn't the hardest working person I ever met. He is a complete douche. Carries tree limbs in athletic clothing except for bluejeans.

He is wreckless and mouthy, he doesn't tolerate the slightest flak off patrons, all he thinks about is the gym, hard to get him to focus on climbing even.
He gets paid way too much for the amount of time he puts in. He fucks my gf, uses anabolic steroids , is always wound up on ephedrine, and there is nothing I can do about it.

Fuck it I am firing him! Until tomorrow at 5 a.m.

I have heard those so many times. Favorite on is would close its doors if I quit....they quit and company did better after they left.

Last company was messing up so bad I would just shake my head and say, it is what it is and as long as they pay me IDK what they do.

This one chick I worked with, was always DTF anybody, but buuuuutttttt ugly. Only one older dude at work hit it (to my knowledge, probably more but wouldnt admit it). She was bat-shit crazy and always pawned off her work on everyone else.

A true blue asshole boss taught me hauling concrete, yes they are dumb but its their company so just take your emotions out of it and let them make the decisions.

I love that guy now. He retired in his early 50's and taught me a lot about when to be the bad guy as a boss. He was notorious for being a dick but he worked his ass off and always stuck up for me when a contractor got in my ass.

Simple fact is if they knew a damn thing about what it actually takes they would have their own company. There are thousands out there looking for a job that would gladly do whatever it takes.

I watched 18 year olds piss away $45 an hour fucking off watching me shovel and move rock. They thought I was the nice guy until I ripped them a new ass and told the company owner not to put tgem on any more prevailing wage jobs because they were useless.
I would have killed for the opportunities they had at their age which they pissed away. I would have done damn near anything for 1500 free and clear a week at 18.

Guess what.... That salty sonofabitch has been doing this his entire life and has forgot more than you know. He taught you how to do what you do si watch and learn and syfm.

He will regret that later in life. 45 and hour is HUGE money for an 18-year-old kid (93K). I used to be huge in college but now I am big on education. You can read and learn anything you want and a college degree does not mean you can do anything other than take classes and pass them. A lot of the best paying jobs do not need a college degree.

I have since quit any jobs that I need to be around people and am focusing on my own success.

Yup!
Gf has a brother that is a certified welder at 21 making $10 an hr because he can't deal with the real men on the pipeline that will occasionally chew his ass. So instead of making $150+ per hour on the petrol line going in 15 miles from his house... He drives 50 min to make 1/15th as much.

Those older dickheads at work are in the position above for a reason. The key thing these boys need to learn is tolerance of those above and respect. Every job I had I climbed to the top seat by giving all and tolerating the old dickhead. Fools pride destroys great careers.

I hate clock punchers and the young today have such trash work ethic. I grew up with the slogan "5 minutes early is 10 minutes late."

I blame the parents and education system. The average 17/18 year old kid finishing high school has no idea what he/she wants to do for the rest of their life. But society shoved down people's throats - go straight to college/university and start a career.

All the colleges are run as a business first and an educational facility second, should be the other way around.

Was the hiring coordinator at my last job can't tell you how many interviews I got where these young people never wanted to work weekends or friday night.Average kid has zero money management skills too. Debt oriented society as the snowball rolls down the hill bigger and bigger
