Belonging to more then One Gym??
I have Powerhouse Bev Francis which is 20 minutes from my house. I go to La Fitness now since it’s 2 minutes from me but I was thinking of joining Bev’s also.
The dumbbells at La Fitness only go up to 100lbs and it’s starting to limit me with certain movements.
How many of you guys belong to more then one gym?

I'll prob join the EOs when it opens right by my house. I have been at LA since day 1 tho - had one at mountain side for little too tho, just because it's mins from ASU campus & has an amazing view.

I belong to two different gyms. My main gym is in the town I work in and is a block from my office. The secondary gym is in the town I live in and I keep a membership there for holidays, weekends, days I had to skip because of work, etc. I work about 15 miles from home so it benefits me to maintain two memberships.

I belong to two gyms. One (Lake Park swim and fitness) is expensive, members are older, and the weight room is smaller. It has a hot tub, steam-room, full size pool, bar (shakes etc....) and supper friendly like a family. But when I need a spot I look around and there are two 70 year old guys in the weight room just BSing.
The other is a chain gym (Crunch Fitness). It is huge and has anything you would want. But at $9.95 a month the membership is young and it gets very busy at times. Lots of eye candy and everyone is there working out, also easy to get a spot when I need one.

If I want my son to work out with me I have to go to a different gym than my regular one. They dont allow anyone under 14 on the floor.
The othe gym just says stay with him and if he gets hurt its your problem.

I go to Snap Fitness and a CrossFit box. Snap is $175/year and the CrossFit is $600/year.

I belong to 3. My main gym ($30/mo) is where i normally go. It's a small family owned place full of guys i want to work out around, but never really talk to. Planet fitness ($20/mo) because i travel for work and they're everywhere, and my gym closes for every holiday. And the YMCA ($70mo) for family reasons. It's nice with good weights, but i rarely ever go unless I'm taking the kids to swim class, or camp, or something... Mostly because it's so F'ing crowded and everyone wants to talk.
Best,

Do yall have World's Gym? It's the cheapest here @ $10/mo with a $40.00 nonsense fee every 6 months. Was going there before building a home gym

I go to 24 Hour Fitness for $150/year. I locked in my renewal rate in the 90s so it's a lot less expensive than a new membership. I like that I can use any of their facilities. There are 3 of them within 5 miles of my home but I usually go to the one where I originally signed up.

Mine is pretty cheap for Italian standards, paid 200 eur for 12 months sub, most trendy and lesser equipped gyms ask 2-3 times that.
Only think lacking worth of note is DBs higher than 40kg or 90lbs.

I go to a local owned (a friend) gym and its pretty big, has more than enough equipment. Its 24 hrs access plus tanning for $325 a year, I think

I use to belong to 3 gyms at one time. Now I’m down to just one.

Here in Romania if you work in a big company you can pay 20$ a mounth for a card that allows you to go to most of the gyms in the whole country. But I go to only 2 gyms cuz bouth are across the street. One it;s old school and in the bassement and the other has modern equipment..

My gym closed with no notice. It was real old school gym and I loved it. membership was $100/year. I joined another gym that is close by and open 24/7 with a key card. I love that I can go at 4AM to do cardio if I feel like it however they only go up to 100 lb dumbbells and not that much diversity of equipment. I'm considering joining another gym farther away to go a couple times a week when I need the bigger dumbbells and more diversity in equipment.
