As an older father of two girls the best advice I can give is to be stable, by that I mean don't give up, and don't give in. In your heart you know what your trying to teach them is in their best interest, so never waiver. Along with that is keep talking to her, she is listening even though it doesn't seem like it.


My oldest is now 35 and for all that she claimed she wasn't listening every once in a while the exact same words will come out of her mouth, then I set there smiling like a cat eating shit.

Road trip sure. I was thinking longer term. What about opening a bike shop or custom shop. Give you something to do that you like and a place to go. But not so big you can’t just close the doors and leave for a month. I don’t know. Just trying to help you out of your funk.

I fear my kids will resent me. I will spare you the stories but I promise you she will see all you have done for her. It's hard as fuck being a father. Being divorced they say its the kids that suffer most, but I disagree. They know I am there for them and love them as does their mother. It has gotten to the point I can't even enjoy my time with them without choking back tears the entire time. Something is always burning dads eyes, sun or allergies.

History will tell the story, only so much we can do. Just gotta do our best. It's hard to be the rock everyone pulls themself up on all the tim and then have to leave for a couple weeks. You learn to turn your emotions on and off like a switch and my gf wonders why I get so distant...

6).im 57 and low key now days. Drugs are nowhere in my life.

2) married for 27 years

3) black belt in Tae Kwon Do, purple belt in karate-do

4) I have been working since I was 8 years old. Earning $2 a week working on a farm.

5) I am very reserved at letting people “in”. I have had people take advantage of me. I am actually sensitive but I try to mask it and not let my feelings show. It is sometimes builds up. This even goes with my wife and she has come to grips with this

6) I have a fear of being a failure. Constantly trying to stay up to date with technology. I am presently unemployed. I felt betrayed after 29 years with the same company and no severence. I am trying to build myself up with my experience and education, but it is difficult. I am a perfectionist and know my weaknesses which doesn’t help.

Got pregnant at 17, married at 18, still very happily married (18 years this past July) Bought my first house at 19.

I’ve never fired a gun. Even a bb gun. Not against them. Just never been around them much.

Have struggled with eating disorders and body dysmorphia a good bit of my life.

Told some of you guys yesterday but have/had a side cake business. Not taking as many orders currently.

Have only been out of the country once and it was to go to Mexico. Didn’t fly on an airplane until I was 26.
