Ufc 229!!
The time has finally come, years of Khabib trash talking and finally getting healthy to where he could fight consecutively enough to get to the top, he will get to prove himself worthy of being champ by taking on Conner.
So getting past the "common" knowledge of Khabib being a horrible match up for Conner, being undefeated, lets talk reality. Khabib was injured and sidelined for over 2 years with a knee injury in 2014 after defeating Rafael dos Anjos, the he came back and was supposed to fight Ferguson and that fight fell through. He finally got on track Nurmagomedov next faced Michael Johnson on November 12, 2016 at UFC 205.After being rocked in the first round, Nurmagomedov regained his composure and dominated the remainder of the fight, winning via submission in the third round.
The bout with Ferguson was scheduled for a third time at UFC 209 on March 4, 2017, for the interim Lightweight Championship. Nurmagomedov, however, fell ill because of a botched weight cut, and the bout was cancelled as a result.
Nurmagomedov faced Edson Barboza on December 30, 2017 at UFC 219. Nurmagomedov dominated all three rounds of the fight, taking Barboza down repeatedly and dominating the fight with ground and pound. He won the fight by unanimous decision. This win also earned him his first Performance of the Night bonus.
A bout with Ferguson had been scheduled for the fourth time and was expected to take place on April 7, 2018, at UFC 223.However, on April 1, 2018, it was reported that Ferguson injured his knee and was to be replaced by Max Holloway. On April 6, Holloway was pulled from the fight after the New York State Athletic Commission (NYSAC) declared him unfit to compete due to extreme weight cutting, and replaced by Al Iaquinta. Only Nurmagomedov was eligible to win the championship, as Iaquinta weighed in 0.2 pounds over the championship weight limit. Nurmagomedov dominated the fight, controlling Iaquinta from start to finish, and won via unanimous decision to become the UFC Lightweight Champion.
So Khabib really has fought top 5 or many top 10 fighter, now Im not taking anything away from him but Conner has beat almost all of the top 5 at 145 and 155. Khabib is slow on his feet and was caught bad by Johnson, recovered and won, but only Nate has been caught by Conner and survived .......but Diaz is an animal and cant be compared to any others when it comes to taking a punch.
I have Conner KO'ing Khabib, great foot movement and angles by McGregor along with Khabib moving slowly will lead to be disastrous. Im very excited, old school match of the best of two different disciplines.
What your thoughts??

Thats what it would seem, be huge if McGregor wins tonight then the fight with Diaz would be a super fight.

I think either McGregor wins in the first three minutes ...or he doesn't win.
If he doesn't win by a KTFO, he doesn't win. And he's never scored a KTFO in the second round.

Right if Khibib gets him on the ground then Connar is in trouble. Fights are all about match ups and i love this match up. Connar will want to stand and bang. Can he force Khibib to do that?
