I know this ain't the right place but it is an any topic thread and I didn't want to create a whole new thread for a simple little question.
Do Y'all typically take 600 or 1200 of NAC each day and is there any downside of taking 1200 anyway?

It’s your thread, and it IS the ANY topic thread. Breaks my heart on a regular basis what I see some of my students dealing with. You’re a great man just for being there. It’s not a simple little question.

Lol I threw in a little NAC question without you noticing but you are right it's something that we are gonna get through just fine but it is a very serious topic. I will keep you updated but as I said everything is positive right now.
How are you and the wife doing tonight. Heck I almost feel obligated to ask about your wife. Prox our relationship is just moving to fast lol. You know I'm just kidding.

No probs buddy. I am typically an anti-social, tongue tied individual outside of performing my job. I can relate with 35 teenagers in a classroom perfectly, but have no interest sitting down to lunch with teachers I’ve worked with for going on 20 years.
This forum continually amazes me with the quality of individuals that post & the support everyone gives to each other. This is pretty much most of the socializing that I do & look forward to it. Plus here, you can choose a conversation you want to participate in & have a moment to think about and edit your statements; damn I wish socializing was like that, I might actually like it then.
She’s doing great, but I’m on vacation & she still has to work & I’ve been bad by sleeping in - not cool on my part.
Hey, if you ever want to PM about your daughter, please feel free. I’m not a father, but have dealt with some delicate situations with many of my students through the years.
It’s been great getting to know you.

I will agree with you how supportive everyone is on this forum, especially how everyone comes from so many different walks of life.
It could be that we are all a bunch of social misfits especially with this lifestyle that we live everyday.
I mean where else could you start up a conversation about what type of chemical you are going to put in your body to build muscle or burn fat and have it be socially accepted by everyone.

So true, I can just imagine the look on some of my other friends faces if I said hey what do you think about the **** from **** research chem company? You know the one that says for research purposes only and not for human consumption or asking them if they think a certain side effect is from something else or the fact that my testosterone is 6 times as high as a healthy teenager lol

To be fair, you can find an echo chamber for anything.
For us, it’s test, tren , var, deca , blah blah etc. Then there are cringeworthy ass forums for everything from intentionally advancing anorexia, to smoking crack, to that strange shit where people intentionally get up to 500+ pounds of bedridden wideass.

I agree regarding the echo chamber reference.
I’ve only previously been on car forums, but never saw the abundance of non-forum subjects come up like here. Particularly some of the more personal issues (family, health, work, etc.). The degree of members here genuinely giving a f*** about those things & each other is impressive.

I woke up and had a hard-on and saw my wife yawning at the same time, coincidence?

Feel your pain. Low 50’s here, but the wind makes it feel like the 40’s. Herculean effort to get to the gym in that weather.

I have put a lot of thought in this.
Typically we are type A introverts that are not socially active like most.
When you think about it though it takes a special mindset to go to the gym and hold a strict diet. It takes an even more special mindset to stab yourself with needles and inject illegal stuff for the sole purpose of getting bigger and stronger.
Personality attributes required would be very type A dominant.
Go your own way
Don't believe others easily
Don't follow a crowd or leader
Driven to make things happen
Probably gets off on adrenaline
Most likely analyzes things thoroughly
Probably won't fit in with a standard type B who is very social in their life.
Probably throws risk assessment aside if the benefits are great enough.
Extremely competitive with self and others
These attributes play into all aspects of a type A introverts life.
When we go this far for our bodies, how far will we go for our careers, familys, and friends?
We are off the deep end.
Buncha dopamine dominant brains beating the shit outta obstacles.
Also...
When it comes to guys like cgarger that compete, they are almost guaranteed to be type A personality.
There is no go with the flow, maybe tomorrow mindset to be found with competitors.
Dominance is their nature.Last edited by Obs; 12-28-2018 at 03:07 AM.

Any topic? Here goes.
The gym has a spa area with jacuzzi, steam-bath & sauna. All of the dudes wear sandals. I’ve NEVER worn sandals in my life, not even at the beach.
Bought some, wore them for the first time today, but walking in them was a bit of a trick (didn’t fall though). But damnnnn, that sauna & jacuzzi felt fine. Guess it was worth it.

It does get cold -10 to -20 isn't uncommon in jan and February. Coldest I've seen it is -41 without the wind but that's extreme for us. The wind is the killer for us it always blows up here it seems like.
Hunting is awesome whitetail, pheasant, and waterfowl on the east side of the state. Whitetail, mule deer, antelope, pheasant, grouse and quail on the west side of the state. Elk in the black hills but hard to get a license.

Awesome, I would love to do some hunting and fishing up there. Down here in Louisiana it's whitetail, squirrel, dove, ducks and some hogs for the most part and largemouth bass and white perch are the most popular fish. There are also gators but I personally haven't ever done any gator hunting. I live in northeast La and there are great people in the north and south but seriously once you get south of Alexandria you might as well be in a totally different state. The south part is where a lot of Cajuns live. Like I said great people everywhere but it can be like completely different states.

Memorial day 2017 I put daisys on Doc's suspected grave.
Drove a few hour out of the way to do it.
Also happened by the confederate cemetary and there were no flowers so we decorated the entrance.
Griffin Georgia....

Little time with weights (maybe none at time of photo). AAS not likely at all.
Photo from 50's or 60's.
Professional athlete, guesses?Last edited by Proximal; 01-11-2019 at 09:55 AM.
