People can believe whatever they want. Odds are I wont accept them once they start shitting on things I hold sacred. I don't ask that they accept me either.
This all ties back to that honor thing I flap my fingers about. My peers are people with mutual core beliefs. It creates an honor system and people hold different ranks on this system.
For instance, an old man who has helped thousands, worked his ass off, raised a good family, built hundreds of homes, became an absolute master of his craft, stood firm on his beliefs, tended thousands of cattle, never backed down, rittled his body with scars, loved one woman and buried her...
Well, that man will get an ear any time he says a word. I would be honored to carry him to his grave with utmost dignity, because I know where he stood without asking. He lived a life so straight forward by his deeds that I wont question his honor.
On the other end of the spectrum:
A feminine male that throws a fit when he is not allowed into certain peer groups... Well, what he says really doesn't mean shit because we dont share core beliefs. Anything that person says I will most likely not hear. He will say what he says in direct natural violation of his Y chromosome and that pretty much leaves me deaf to him.
He can call me a chauvanistic bigot and I will call him a queer.
