    myostatin inhibitor, please help

Hey guys, I dont normally ask for sources on here, but my best friend has ALS and he is trying to find a source. He is losing muscle very rapidly, and research shows MI helps, but his doctor won't prescribe it. I need a real reliable source, and i will only take advice from the ones on here I know I can trust. Please PM me

I wasn't aware that any 'real' mysotatin inhibitor has gotten even to the stages of human trial testing , let alone made it to an actual prescription drug yet .. are you sure this is what he needs ?

I've not looked into myostatin inhibitors for a long time now, but last I seen there was a SARM, YK11 that made this claim. also some peptides that work through Folastatin antagonism that claim to lower myostatin. all of which at that time I looked into it , seemed pretty weak and not much evidence that myostatin was ever really inhabited.
the next thing that was supposed to come along was a gene expression drug. where the myostatin gene itself was to be 'snipped' out of your DNA. this drug was likely going to come in the form of a controlled virus. essentially a virus that only attacked the myostatin gene.

haven't really stayed in the loop to see if anything has really been developed as a 'real' myostatin inhibitor or not .. would be curios to know if anyone else has more modern details on this topic
