There's about a 30-mile deep coastal band that runs from Charleston to Brownsville (which includes the whole of Florida) where you shouldn't live unless you're prepared to lose everything you own at least once in your lifetime. That might be losing half on two occasions, or half once and a quarter twice more, or the whole enchilada in one shot. Or you might lose everything twice while some guy in Mobile (or other coastal city) never gets hit. Statistics are funny like that.

But just by living in that band, you've anted up and are in the game.

It is projected to hit land around Fort Pierce then walk its way up the East Coast.

Ft pierce is good distance away. But still will affect us badly.
