This is not for the wandering type B personality or type C or D.

What you read here will lead you to failure.

I am extreme type "A." I have battled with it badly and only recently discovered why. This is not a good personality trait for the purposes of family or relationships. We are all a mix of the types. Some hold more true to the bounds of one of the types defining traits though.

A type "A" looks for what they excel at. If they find flaw in something they pursue, they quickly abandon it. Why be sufficient at one thing when you can excel in another, with proportional application of yourself?

I thought type A's were superior. A dominating type; leaders, bosses, advancers, and driven at that.

This is true but we lack many traits of success that can lead to total burnout and failure.

You are a pusher as a type A.
You shove forward demanding success.
The things you put foremost on your priorities will most likely happen. We are dream seekers and give 100% to a task. You will not be beaten at work. You will not give dedication unless it is a top priority that requires it. Its a flaw in your personality.

I wish I could say I was half the family man a type B is. They accept what is and make the best of it.

After my divorce I let everything go.
I became this freak that would not accept failure. I quit my job and went to work for myself. That became #1 priority, #2 was bodybuilding. #3, 4, 5, and 10 were success at those two.

Somewhere way down the list were relationships with family. A type A is a self serving dick if they let it get that far.

When I have a bad day I take it out on those closest to me. I want them to feel what I do. Fact is no other personality type but a type A that is dedicated to family can deal with that shit.

They will pour their fucking heart out trying to keep you satiated and the family together. You are a poisonous self centered asshole in the meantime.

My lady is the best there is. She is a family #1 type A. The things she does to make things work are not measureable in any other way than to say, SHE APPLIES 100%.

Then the dick dedicated to his interests and success at them starts seeing failure creeping up...

That innocent lady catches the brunt of it. Every time she did something less than perfect will be called out. The fact that she just wants a strong family will be cut down. "You dont understand how hard it is!"

You want to learn hard?
Try being in a relationship with you!

I am not of the "women are superior" mindset of today.
Quite frankly, it would take a dozen women to do what I do. Now raise a kid.... It would take a crack hoe to do as good a job as I could alone.

What are yours?

A type A, is the most unbalanced personality type you will find. Don't fight it.
Set your priorities and accept it. Accept what you cant change and be there for those that need you.

Giving your all is natural. You dont need help there. You just need to set your priorities. Priorities will not be what you want and this shit hurts like a bitch to learn. I am trying and failing but I know this is the way.

Success is to be determined.
As a type A, you will never be satisfied though.
Seeking success can ruin a good, driven, strong type A.
