Went out yesterday morning and shot a bunch of wood ducks. Hit our bag limit by 9:00 a.m. Then went and scouted some other public hunt grounds... It was so wet last spring no food took. once all the local ducks have been shot, no where around me is going to hold any migratory ducks for a long... timing is going to be critical. Getting out there on the right day at the right time and hopefully shooting some flyby's that are interested my decoys.

My best hope is that 2 hours north of me all the water freezes over and then the temperature stays about there, with their water Frozen, but my water open.

Unless I buy a boat of course... That'd change my season dramatically. If anybody wants to start a GoFundMe campaign for such a thing, knock yourself out, lol.
