over the last 6 months I've lost 30 pounds (and not 30 pounds of fat, I was lean to begin with , probably 14%).. and for the last month or so my weight has held completely steady, not moving up or down, and thats with eating only on average 1600 cals per day , plus adding in lots of days of intermentent fasting (and through that process even 48+ hour fasts).
this was all in at attempt to fix my digestion problems .
but, none the less.. through that my metabolism is easily maintaining weight with very little calories.. heck post perineal blood sugars are running in the high 80s (thats lower then most peoples fasted blood sugars) ..
I'm in a spot where it would probably only take 2900 cals per day to easily blow up 20 pounds or so in a short amount of time.
a year ago I was force feeding myself 6 meals a day just in an attempt to gain a pound or two .. my metabolism seems to be totally different now through all the different fasting and dieting things I've done over the last 6 months
note: and that 1600 cals per day is maintaining my weight even with 2 a day cardio sessions plus weight training several times a week , plus snow shoveling and house work (where I live I have to shovel snow several times a week for hour+)
