This shutdown is KILLING ME!!! mental and physical changes
Dang I can't stand it! I was hitting the gym more than 7 times per week before and then once the gyms closed NOTHING... sure i've done some pushups, situps, shoulder raise the chairs, walking.... but just imagine hitting the weights and cardio ALL THE TIME to NOTHING ughhhh... i'm sure many of you are right here with me.. I'm just exhausted realizing I have to work hard to get back to where I was and this 'break' was a forced break but I can't help getting in a little worse shape.... it is the inevitable isn't it? thanks for the support!

I know the feeling. I came off of everything...NPP..Test..Anadrol ..gh...everything. I was 5 weeks into a nice cycle and dropped it all. Kinda glad I did..may as well save the gear since I cant lift.
Only in the last 72 hours has it begun to work on me mentally. Lifting at home simply isn't lifting. Almost pointless in fact.

Hey that’s exactly how i felt the first two weeks of going into my so called home gym from the actual gym. But week 3 is starting to look a tad better im finding my groove barely and things are coming together much better than if i didnt have anything to lift at all.
Now for those of you who don’t have affese to anything weight wise and i know a few of you don’t im just praying you guys push through it.

To be honest I’m actually enjoying the break and letting my body heal...I didn’t realize how bad it was till I was forced to stop...I’m starting to feel good again so I’ll be back soon...

Exactly. Once you find your exercises and routine with that you have available, things pick up and most people instinctively start pushing their limits a bit.
It's funny how you don't realize how run down and dilapidated you get until you just step back from it for a bit. Sometimes just a week or two can make a huge difference.. mentally and physically. There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

I will step out of the quarantine which I am not taking part in and be better off physically and financially.
I dont build retaining walls but I am heading to bid one.
Only thing holding you back is balls.
I am a sole proprietor.
That's like a CEO with no board of directors.
I am a dictator running my dictatorship.
And I will sail my vessel until the river runs dry....

If there is a more positive and resourceful way to view this stupid shit then someone please speak up. Otherwise shut the hell up and get back to work except do it harder this time. Some people will step out of this shit a bitch and others a king

It’s definitely a challenge. I took almost a week off after my gym shut down. However I was already in the process of sourcing my basic needs gym equipment wise, I was of strong belief very early on that things were going to different.
I picked up a cheap amazon flat bench, a really nice dip bar stand, pair of 110 lb dumbbells, and put up a bar in the back yard for chins and pull ups. I also have a few various smaller dumbbell pairs 40s,20s,10s, and fives. So far it’s working pretty good. The big part of this for me are the two larger dumbbells as I they work for a lot of movements pretty well for me. I use them for bench press, dumbbell rows, pullovers, shrugs, and farmers carries. It really doesn’t require a lot of equipment if you know your body well and what movements best focus hypertrophy for you. I will say though if all I had were bands I would not be an easy person to be around.

I just got in my second real workout in the last month or so last night. Did some arms and shoulders to ease back into it.. Today ill do some deadlifts and back.
You absolutely have to have some equipment at home as a free citizen. We're not in jail guys, we don't have to be limited to pushups and situps. I'm glad I have a few pieces of gear I have acquired over the years.
I have an adjustable bench, 2 75 lb dumbbells, 2 50 lbs adjustable dumbbells, a hex bar with 200 or so lbs of bumper plates, and I ordered this bad boy last month and put it together last week:
I'm not gonna lie, I got sloppy over the last month. I barely worked out and ate like shit... But now it's time for the new "normal." Life goes on. Gotta swim with the waves.

I am still maintaining & actually getting more sore from my in home workouts
50 pound fully adjustable weights - doing all reps to a 20+ range
I’m working out 2+ hours per day rn to keep sane
I’m up to 75 pushups straight - now, I’m working on getting my 8 year old into lifting
+ I have Doom Eternal < that shit’s been great for passing time

Getting back a little that I lost, getting decent pumps and getting sore. Doing girl/kneeling pushups because of a missing RC, but f-it, they work for me. R-bands doing fine by me as well, but miss my gym. Switching to 2 a day workouts next week.

Nope.
That bitch was retarded or high or both.
She bugged me 500 times and wanted me to do it. She was so annoying and stupid I retracted my bid and referred her to a friend.
I warned him she was stupid.
I had to explain slowly 5 times that I needed directions to her house. I almost blew up. Then I got there and she had no clue what she wanted.... So I gave her ideas and she agreed to a plan.
Then as I was leaving she said "How do you know what I want?"
Ughhhhh... "You want this dick in your dumb mouth dont you bitch!?"
