    Gearheaded's crazy relegious thoughts

WARNING -- religious Christian ideas are going to follow

we no longer have Church services. there is no communion service for this Holy Week and easter.. we can't share the cup and proclaim our faith. which has always been a sacrament of God himself sharing with us , not the other way around . its HIS service and its him giving to us.

keep that last point in mind. just because we cannot join together as people does not mean our faith is not all one. the communion has always been heaven coming down to us . heaven still comes down to us even though we can't gather together.

the passover, easter, the resurrection Sunday etc.. has always been a picture of life. God became man and in the flesh to show us how life works, suffered and died but ROSE AGAIN.

sure , we have a 'beast' that is immoral government trying to be a savior , a 'false prophet' that is immoral philosophy saying the govt will save you , and an immoral "666" that is a false economy .
^anyone who reads the Bible knows what my references mean.

but in the end . we win. not the beast .. heaven is here. the work on the cross is already done. faith is all that matters.

just keep your faith and keep kicking ass and getting things done and helping your neighbors. all will be well in the end

There are all sorts of Christian groups. . . the Quakers, the Brethren, the Catholics.

No two Quakers are the same. No two Catholics are the same.

I have my own way of doing Christianity and it works for me. I've met good Christians who have different views to me, and that's fine I'm glad their way works for them.

All good Christians I've met who have strong faith have a clear cut view on who and what Jesus was (and is).

Here's my own view that I've formed myself from my own logical deductions:
I don't believe that Jesus was the son of God. I believe that Jesus was God. (Most Catholics I've met disagree with this). I believe that Jesus was the divine deity Itself.

Furthermore I believe that Jesus was simultaneously both fully-God and fully-man. The whole point of Him coming down to dwell among us was to live as we live and suffer as we suffer. I believe that Jesus ocasionally had toothaches, and diarrhea a few times a year. Maybe a cold and sore throat for a few days a year.

Some other Christians disagree with me and think that Jesus was a separate entity from God (i.e. the son of God). Also some Christians say that Jesus was never weak or poorly. I suppose we'll know more when we expire.

Hang in there, GH. I know we've had eschatological conversations from differing view points in the past which I enjoyed.

LOL, at times you had me pulling out my Companion KJV Bible w/ the appendices by Dr. Bullinger ( a huge scholar back in the late 1800's and one of the few Christians to be asked to help proofread the Massorah), Green's Interlinear Bible, Strong's Concordance, and a couple of reference books on the Masoretic texts.

People are in bad situations right now with lots of uncertainty, but I feel that when the plowing gets tough, that's when we really strengthen our faith and usefulness for the things to come.

Like you said, stay positive, stay in the Word, the end will be a new beginning!!

I truly feel we’re living in some biblically prophetic times. I’m sure a lot of the men here have Fear over Faith, which is very important. However I can see having fear, not because what man can do unto me. Isaiah 54:17 “No weapon formed against thee shall prosper “... My worry in these days are my wife and kids, friends and loved ones.
Revelation 10:10 And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.
It’s an exciting time for the saved but scary for those who aren’t as described here, bitter sweet.

I have to say, missing hitting the gym and can’t find anabolics now however I’ve been really diving into Gods word. He knows how to get peoples attention

I don't know about the avitar / screen name thing; not so sure...

I have seen countless swingers / couples / les echangiste (in French, France was where I was heavily involved in that activity...) with the same screen name... About as common as Bonnie and Clyde.

So, I would be a bit hesitant to draw any religious connections here.

    Just saying...

Oh and by the way: I CERTAINLY meant NO DISRESPECT to S and D by my comments. I was not drawing any unwarranted conclusions myself, from your avitar...

GH you know I've got mega respect for you, bro. So, not trying to derail the thread... Y'all can have your religions.

    You can profile though.
You take basic commonalities and lump people into groups.

The FBI has it narrowed down so well as do every major retailer on the web, the can literally fingerprint your browser after you install a few apps and make a few searches on a new device... They have you narrowed down to you or a few possibilities. All of which they can have in custody inside 30 minutes.

But sampson hunts with guns, prays, (as stated above) and about 90% of the population of the US knows who sampson was.

Only about 1% can tell you who Delilah was or link the two names.

There are also things about him like his good natured tendencies and being moral for the most part though he has his flaws...

I am betting my profiling is closer than your scorn thereof.

    I am an amateur though.

I am tougher to figure though because I defy my own principles at such an incredulous rate there is no telling what I might do.

That is a profileable demographic as well.

I dont go to east saint louis proclaiming hatred for minorities at midnight at a nightclub naked.

Do that where I live though and they will say, "Fuckin Nate tied one on!"

Im just saying... Some of us know this game.

I know who will be the primary race when I swing open the door to a churchs chicken in Ruskin Heights and I know there aint too many 90 year old white ladies blasting rap in my little town.

I draw conclusions and it works much better for me than keeping an open mind and not trusting my instincts.

Yeah, I agree with you 100% Road...

Certainly, "profiling" works, in more cases than just law enforcement.

But, if you are directing your comment, "I am betting my profiling is better than your scorn thereof.", you are way off base...

I am not taking the bait, if in fact it was directed at me...

It behooves those who are following this thread to PROPERLY read and COMPREHEND what what was written, so as not to misconstrue comments.

I agree wholeheartedly with nearly (as I've not the time to go back and reread the post) everything which you have written here.

Drawing conclusions, instantaneously (or nearly that fast), assessing situations (your trees for one example), PROFILING...

It's all a part of the game...

Hey I apologize brother, I just noticed how you said you also have 4 kids. I myself have 5 kids and I understand your fears and concern. I always preach Faith over Fear, and I know it’s not easy at time, the Bible says we all fall short in this flesh. When we’re obedient to him, he will harken to our prayers.

Let me share something with you friend. Just a little over 2 years ago, I was so lost, I left my wife and kids and was sacked out of my mind, sleeping with some married chick, smoking weed and drinking with her every single night. This went on a few months. And my kids and wife prayed for me. My daughter said to me, dad I hope you still read your Bible. After that, the first time in a few years I started reading and praying again.
This chick and I broke up, I had no where to go and was sleeping out of my office at work, my wife despised me for hurting my family, I had no money because of my child support, I was so broken. I went up to the roof top of the building that night, ready to slit my wrist with the razor blade I had at my desk then jump off the roof. But God, as always pulled at me. And I broke even more. I started writing scripture on my forearms and wound up crying on the rooftop and praying to God for hours that night staring at the stars.

Since then. I’ve seen God do amazing things in my life, and the more I’m obedient and pray and do what he wants, trying to be more Christ like, the more he blesses me in the most amazing ways. He’s restored my family and has been doing miracles in my marriage. He’s lead me with jobs so now I’m in a great spot at a senior living home making great money. He even provided me side work through a friends church, enough money that was the same as a 2 weeks pay.

Turning to God is the best thing any of us can ever do. Tonight I will be praying for you my friend. And I pray God moves the hands he sees fit to work in your life at this time brotha

I was showing you the hypocrisy a bit.
You call Gh, me, and others bible thumpers but then look at someone with a biblical screen name and say oh they may not be.

Not trying to cause issue but atheists in general are the most hypocritical people I have ever seen. Agnostic is understandable. Anyone who curses another's beliefs based on partial science is obviously a cunt and since atheism is based on "science," which is incredibly incomplete, they are exactly the thing they denounce.

    PEOPLE ACTING ON BELIEF

The difference is christians don't attack atheists or scorn them. Like that little faggot wavefunction who saw fit to go into a memorial thread and trash it by calling out anyone of faith. THAT IS SOME IRONICALLY HYPOCRITICAL STUFF!
Probably why the belief system most responsible for genocide in human history is by in large, atheists. Atheists are the biggest judgemental hypocrites in history.

They always think they are superior until the Judaic-Chistian finally swats their ass to the ground. Even muslims don't carry hate like atheists as a whole.

    0+0 does not equal everything.

Happy Resurrection Sunday or Easter for you pagans.

You atheists can celebrate you total lack of belief in anything but hard evidence. It's gonna be a boring day for y'all. You still haven't proven or disproven shit other than your own hypocrisy.

0 + 0 does not equal everything that's a mathematical scientific fact that something is and always was. The laws of physics cannot stand against each other without precognition it's impossible they would have had to literally simultaneously evolved from nothing without precognition. For more info read the cognitive theoretic of the model universe.

Now you seem pretty goddamn smart so you tell me about space and the dust and the explosion that created the world? Where did it come from? It defies all written science anywhere. Where did The Matrix and all of the laws of quantum physics come from? Give me something now because your belief sounds like absolute horseshit and incomplete.

It takes a lot of fucking Faith to be an atheist

He is arrogant as most intelligent folks.
When religious have things they cant explain they point to God.
When atheists cant explain something they say we dont have that science yet.

Neither can explain shit because they are both the same stupid humans.

Yet its always atheists attacking people of faith in every thread.

Never the other way around except with me. Atheist are fucking hypocritical moron assholes most of the time and I love showing them.

They knock faith based and base a belief system off time space and matter which all came from somewhere...

Oh but science cant prove that yet...
Yeah well we can't prove God to you.

So we all kinda look like the same fucking retarded apes!

One is convinced they are superior though and for that reason one is very very stupid.

For what it’s worth, I believe in God and Jesus Christ. I personally believe God sparred my life on 2 occasions and try to be a better man because of it.

Just as I am ashamed that Christmas is celebrated by materialism and a fat, bearded man flying on a sleigh pulled by reindeer and Easter is celebrated by a large rabbit and mountains of chocolate eggs.

    However, in reference to genocide:

“ A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.”

“It is better for everybody if society, instead of waiting until it has to execute degenerate offspring or leave them to starve because of feeble-mindedness, can prevent obviously inferior individuals from propagating their kind.”

Ultimately I think it’s fair to say where these words of wisdom guided mankind.

I'm considering going to Uganda for a year to help out (and be a part of) the Watoto group. I'd probably be wise to go for 10 days first just to see how I get on.

the problem with atheism is that it lacks faith in something bigger and better then themselves ..
they quote "science" and act like they rely on that, but really they are just relying on their own bullshit interpretations of that science . they are selfish and self involved people for the most part that don't understand a thing or how the world really goes round .
they think they themselves are the world and all that matters ... they see the sacrifice of Christ on the cross as a very confusing event because they don't understand what giving to humanity is. they see the communion service as religious bullshit cause they don't see or understand what humanity accepting the offer of true life is.
they generally hate humanity. thats why they don't get it.. thats why atheist dictators have killed millions upon millions of people over the years, more then any plague or virus ever will

GH, I think of you as a friend and am not doing this to antagonize you. There simply is no one around here (at home, not the forum) that I know that I can have honest discussions with in which there is no intent to judge. Regarding “atheist” doctors, who do you suppose influenced many of them into action? And why are you so sure they are purely atheist and hate “society”? Whose version of “society”?

easy .. the hand of God works through anyone thats willing to help people . doesn't matter if they are atheist or anything else. its the willingness to help your neighbor and love people that is the hand of God.
an Atheist may not believe in God .. but I have no doubts in the whole world that God can use an Atheist or anyone else
