I can't believe the America we live in...

I can't believe the current state of affairs in America.

I wake up this morning to learn of our POTUS breaking up peaceful protestors with teargas and rubber bullets.
When? Half an hour BEFORE curfew.
Why? So he can get a religious photoshoot.

Even the church that he visited condemned his act.

    https://www.axios.com/st-johns-churc...ffbe59bbb.html

Now I try to stay away from politics.
Yes I am more liberal than conservative.

But I believe that the normal stance of the Right Wing is that they are anti-big government.
Well, dispersing peaceful law abiding protestors to get a photo shoot to appease to his religious base is a prime example of Big Government abusing its power.

I think I understand part of why this happened.
The night before this Trump was made fun of for hiding in his bunker.
    So...
He comes back to show the world just how tough he is.
    By attacking unarmed protestors.

    I am not attacking Republicans.
This is not an attack on guns or religious freedom.

I am simply pointing out that Trump is an egotistical asshole.

I truly believe that one can be Republican and anti-Trump.
    At least I hope so....

I'm a white 2nd amendment relegious type, which you all know by now.. but I'm neither democrat or republican (as I've said too many times before, the left wing and the right wing are both wings on the same damn corrupt bird). heck the last time I think I even voted was way back in 2008 and I voted for Alan Keyes who was the nominee in the 'constitution part' (I was registered as a voter in the constitution party).. Alan Keyes happens to be African American .. not that that matters. but guess it points out that I really don't get these petty "race wars'' .. I can be a white conservative and still support a black man for president. its the policy and philosophy of a man that matters, not his skin color.
    anyhow.
now I'm more of a conscience objector and 'peaceful anarchist', and don't vote or don't support any politics in general. the whole system is corrupt.

I'm a Trump supporter mainly in simply the position/role of president itself.. I didn't vote for him. I like his hard stance against extreme left wing communism and socialism. but right wing republicans have their issues as well.

but at the end of the day when I see news like this, makes me see even more that both right wing and left wing are all just one giant corrupt bird in the first place.

It's a mess because there are also reports that the protesters were pelting police with bottles of water, etc. and they had started climbing on top of what they burnt on Lafayette Square.

It's D.C. so surely there is some uncontaminated surveillance video.
There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

This is literally going on in my backyard.

I live in Fort Worth, Texas. And obviously Dallas is only 35 minutes East from us. Idk if any of y’all have been keeping up with what’s been going on in DFW but my wife’s salon we’re trying to open (construction started a month before covid19 hit) is 5 blocks from where the protests and vandalism has been going, at Montgomery Plaza in the west 7th/university and downtown Fort Worth area. We actually went up last night before the curfew to cover the $10k in windows we just had installed.

The demonstration ended in Fort Worth last night with the FWPD taking a knee with protesters. There still is fucking hope for humanity. Now if everyone else could just follow suit. Beyond proud of our city and community.

Out here, they were showing agitators trying to start fights with peaceful protesters to cause a distraction to police. Some clever planning.

I feel your pain. The looters went more upscale into our neighborhood 5 mins away.

Then my wife had a rough time getting home from work because a guy driving looters out here was in a car chase with police in one of the streets she needs to take to get home.

Yes. I don’t mean to go full retard, not that the entire thing has been orchestrated from the very beginning but, the “higher powers” definitely have came in and capitalized on this entire situation.

I was talking with my wife earlier. Why is it that when we’re in the gym, everyone is a fucking brother. White, black, brown, pink and or fucking purple. But when you step outside, it’s a different story. It’s sad. I think that most ppl are good, that we all want the same thing, and for the most part it’s not violence.

Most real republicans who care about the party and the country are anti-trump. His hard core supporters are Trumpers, not Republicans. We care about the deficit, the second amendment, family values, respecting women. He doesnt, he never did. Look at his ban on bump stocks.

Look at the Lincoln Project for example.

Statement from United States Park Police acting Chief Gregory T. Monahan about the actions taken over the weekend to protect life and property

    Date: June 2, 2020
    Contact: [email protected]

The United States Park Police (USPP) is committed to the peaceful expression of First Amendment rights. However, this past weekend’s demonstrations at Lafayette Park and across the National Mall included activities that were not part of a peaceful protest, which resulted in injuries to USPP officers in the line of duty, the destruction of public property and the defacing of memorials and monuments. During four days of demonstrations, 51 members of the USPP were injured; of those, 11 were transported to the hospital and released and three were admitted.

Multiple agencies assisted the USPP in responding to and quelling the acts of destruction and violence over the course of the weekend in order to protect citizens and property.

On Monday, June 1, the USPP worked with the United States Secret Service to have temporary fencing installed inside Lafayette Park. At approximately 6:33 pm, violent protestors on H Street NW began throwing projectiles including bricks, frozen water bottles and caustic liquids. The protestors also climbed onto a historic building at the north end of Lafayette Park that was destroyed by arson days prior. Intelligence had revealed calls for violence against the police, and officers found caches of glass bottles, baseball bats and metal poles hidden along the street.

To curtail the violence that was underway, the USPP, following established policy, issued three warnings over a loudspeaker to alert demonstrators on H Street to evacuate the area. Horse mounted patrol, Civil Disturbance Units and additional personnel were used to clear the area. As many of the protestors became more combative, continued to throw projectiles, and attempted to grab officers’ weapons, officers then employed the use of smoke canisters and pepper balls. No tear gas was used by USPP officers or other assisting law enforcement partners to close the area at Lafayette Park. Subsequently, the fence was installed.

Throughout the demonstrations, the USPP has not made any arrests. The USPP will always support peaceful assembly but cannot tolerate violence to citizens or officers or damage to our nation’s resources that we are entrusted to protect.

    I tend to disagree.
    Why?

None of the press that I've seen has made any mention of it being violent.
I find it odd that with all of those cameras that no-one captured any of the violence.

I also find it odd that a block away from the White House...
One of the most strictly monitored places in the world...
No-one has come up with video showing people making these caches of glass bottles, baseball bats, and metal poles.

I truly believe in our nation's current state of affairs that it would be near impossible to even place these caches of weapons so close to the White House without beeing seen and arrested.

It wouldn't be the first time that our government has lied to us.
You can't be so naive that you believe everything you read can you?

    But I get it...
I should've never mentioned poilitical things.

People tend to get emotional and irrational when others question their beliefs or faith or political identity.

For a little push back from the press you can read:
    https://deadline.com/2020/06/donald-...rk-1202949717/

I will try to steer clear of your threads in the furture.

NO.. I'd never support baby killers child molestor pedophiles that are engrossed in the occult and eat children and drink their blood.
    democrat .
    Demon
    Crat

"Crat" means a from of government rule . demonic rule, thats all a democrat is. occultists and free mason lucifer worshippers.

they are also all racist. they pretend to be the party of diversity and non racism, but thats just a false front and a trick. thats how the occult works.
the democrats started the civil war to take over the souther part of the country, they used "slavery'' as a false front. meanwhile they killed more blacks then anyone else.
then the democrats stared the KKK to harass and kill black men who were gaining political power in the Republican Party.
Umm,, did you know the Republican Party in the late 1800s was founded mainly by black men ? look it up.

lets see what else.. now that the KKK is gone. what comes next. militarized police force, invented by democrats, wearing badges that when you look closely have masonic democrat occult images on them.
then the democrats funded and built abortion clinics and put them in black neighborhoods to try and wipe them out that way and encourage them to sacrifice and kill their babies in the name of the democrat occults god.

interesting the buildings they build resemble the old human sacrifice temples of the occult

thats a planned parenthood building on the right..

anyhow, I digress. but through history, when you look into it you'll find out the democrat (demonic rule) are all racist and are the ones instigating and trying to destroy the black man ,, but as occult satanic 'tricksters' they actually try to make people think the opposite of that and they are the party of diversity and white republicans are the racists. lol. thats just how satanists role. everything is done by reverse psychology and delusions.

anyhow .. HELL NO. I'm not a democrat supporter. I don't support the occult, eating of children, pedophile, violence, racism, satanism and fee masonry ,, one bit.

    I said I didn't vote for Trump.
thats because I refuse to vote.. I'm not left wing or right wing because I believe both wings are on the same corrupt bird.
the last time I voted at all I think was in 2008 and I voted for a man named Alan Keyes of the constitution party. he happens to be a black man by the way (interesting how some here have called me a racist simply because they assume I'm a right wing conservative).
I don't vote because I think the whole system is flawed and I don't in good conscience want to vote for a lesser of two evils.

I don't know what that fool is thinking.. anyhow thats my local area and thats his freedom and to carry it I suppose.
but instead of being in the midst of a protest he should be in front of and protecting a business from looters. no point in carrying long gun within a peaceful protest. he is a fool and needs to think more clearly on how to best use is constitutional freedoms

I’d argue that there’s EVERY reason to openly carry a rifle during peaceful protest, especially right from the start.
I can’t help but think that it’s no coincidence that 2A gatherings are about the only ones that never get riot squad measures put in place against them.
It’s definitely not a “white vs. black” or “rich vs. poor” thing either. The Occupy movement was mostly middle/upper class white kids, and they still got gassed and hosed with pepper spray.

    Demon
    Crat
So by your logic (And I use the term "logic" very loosely here)

A democracy is actually a DEMONocracy.

    So ALL Americans are demons.

    Wow... sheer brilliance.

Now you are being an asshole and quoteing me out of context.
That statement was made in regards to Trump ordering the attack on the peaceful protest so he could get a photoshot.

In no way was I refering to every single protest that has occured.

    I see your point..
where I live its a highly retired military area. I'm talking high rank generals etc.. just on a normal day before all this crap happened, you would see people open carrying guns in the grocery store aisle . plenty people walk around strapped here all the time, its a normal occurrence for years,, on top of having concealed carry as well.
thats why we have low crime.

but there is a difference between the 1st amendment and 2nd amendment. they are separated and not one in the same amendment.
the power of free speech and the power of the pen is much more powerful then the power of the sword.
you have the 2nd amendment, the power of the sword/gun , to defend yourself against those that oppose and want to harm you because your exercising the first amendment. you should be able to protect yourself from violence.

but you shouldn't use the 2nd amendment right as a form of intimidation to exercise your first amendment right. your voice will be blurred and muted when you come with intimidation rather then the true power of the pen/speech.

    idk, just an opinion

come on now ... you I'm sure know what 'Hyperbole" is don't you ?

I was making an over exaggeration of something just to make a point . did you miss the basics of the point? now you want to blend "logic" with "hyperbole"

I absolutely do see your point.
From the other side, I’d posit that one of the greatest crimes ever committed against left voting populations (which the majority of minorities are as well) was convincing them that they are dangerous and can’t be trusted with the tools to defend themselves. It’s done absolutely nothing but render them impotent in the face of real threats, both from criminals and the members of various government agencies.
Last I checked, the only ones who really lost much in this area was them (spare me the bump stock whining though). That’s the real reason that I oppose stupid ass measures like increased taxation on ammunition and the like. It doesn’t change shit for me, but it fucks over the poor pretty hard. When you can’t afford to practice regularly with your arms, they’re as good as useless in a truly dangerous situation.
Shit, just look at all of these neighborhoods getting fucked up. If those owners and residents were all openly armed and guarding their property, I don’t think even the dumbest of rioter would have a go at them. Bricks don’t fly as far as 5.56 rounds.

    agree..

got to 5:20 of this video

this is where you see the difference .

personally , I'd rather empower ALL .. WE THE PEOPLE. with the power of the pen and the sword, and not be divided by racism or community.. we can all keep our different cultures religions etc. but we all should be empowered by our constitutional rights
