    Help!?

Hey guys I really need some opinions on what could be causing this.... Lately (the last few weeks.. ) I have had a lot of anxiety... feelings of claustrophobia.. When I sleep during the day or at night I generally stop breathing through out the night and wake myself up gasping for air... This is freaking me out more lately than ever... I'm also feeling VERY tired throughout the days... The whole sleeping issue is due to sleep aptnea.. ( I have a breathing machine but never got used to using it.... the over the face mask was too much) I should maybe get the in my nose attachment? I was hooked up to some sort of scan and sleep study a few different times... both times reported my heart rate dropping into the mid / low 20's while asleep. This was reported a few times as well at the hostpital a few years back when I stayed a few nights.

Cycle I just started 2 weeks ago...

    test p - 50mg ed
    npp - 75mg ed
    dbol - 50mg ed
    MK-677- 25mg ed

First off is the MK-677 making me tired do you think? It sure helped me gain 12 lbs fast....

secondly any opinions to help me out? I hate having these feelings... I'm 40 years old, maybe I'm having these feelings due to not enough productivity in my daily liveS? We also just relocated about 5 miles from where we used to live.... but now we have fewer windows... I don't face the window anymore where my computer is etc.. UGH!!!! Lately when I nearly fall asleep I just wake up in a panic and go outside to walk around. maybe a bad strain of weed i just got? it's horrible. Thanks !

Interesting thread. I started getting sleep claustrophobia stuff about 3 years ago (I’m 45). Would wake up gasping and then feel like the walls were closing in on me. Sometimes I’d go sit on my front porch just to breath. I remember taking my oldest son skiing and we stayed in this tiny hotel and after he was asleep, I started to bug out a little bit and had to jump in the elevator and head outside for a little while.

I’m pretty sure it’s sleep apnea related, mine got really bad and every night I’d end up waking up gasping. Makes sense it would lead to some anxiety, sometimes I’d dream I was drowning or trapped under ice...legitimately stopping breathing is stressful on the system. It has to all be related to anxiety, apnea, claustrophobia, all of it..My thoughts anyways.
Fuck a C pap, I enjoy my mouth piece. It opens me up enough to breath and I don’t feel like darth Vader, that’s something you could try.

Weed can definitely get me paranoid and fuck with me at night. I switched to only indica edibles and it’s helped, the sativas are so psychoactive and can mess with your mind there too. Try and make that switch if you haven’t

The last piece I’ve had luck with is just focusing on my breathing and sitting up if I’m starting to feel it. If it gets so bad, I go sit in my favorite chair until I’m out and then crawl back to bed all sleepy.

As far as the MK677 making you sleepy? Hell yes it can be. What time are you taking it?

And as far as a new house and less windows, of course that can play a part too. Anything that messes with the mind or the routine throws shit out of balance. Just have to be aware of the triggers and start to modify accordingly. It happens less frequently now bit occasionally I’ll get all hot and closed in feeling and I’ll leave my bedroom, not the end of the world. The bigger pain in the ass is when it happens away from home.

Hey my man thank you so much for your reply! I am actually up for the last hour currently it's 2:36 a.m. Having those feelings again... laying in bed and feeling like I had to get out. So I went on a walk outside for a few blocks. I came here to see your response so I thank you! It is good to hear your experiences and advice.. Those sound like horrible dreams being stuck under ice or drowning! That would definitely wake me up in a panic.

You say fuck a C pap... Can you show me the one you recommend I try out? I could hopefully solve a good amount of my issues if I can get used to this sleep apnea device while sleeping... (but imagine how being hooked up to a machine sounds when i'm already having these claustrophobic feelings)

One more thing with my new living situation is our King sized bed barely fits into this cubby area in our room... so in a sense my side of the bed is so close to the wall / sliding door that I bump into the wall and bed when trying to get out of bed and use the bathroom or just leave my bed. UGH that alone is really bothering me so I'm considering buying a queen sized bed... lol

You and I think the opposite for the weed thing.... I have always thought sativa kept me less sleepy and more awake.... Indica always seemed to put me into this physical half way turned on feeling.... physically hard to open my eyes wider... So when I'm really high and have that really bad body high.... it helps add to my claustrophobia feelings. I really think just giving up weed in general would help me... or just stop it 85% of the day / night... and get back on the weed reward system... earn your reward with a successful day... smoke a bowl at night. My work let's me smoke anytime I want... maybe get back to being strict with myself.

I am taking the MK677 every morning at about 6 a.m. along with my dbol / cialis (so basically as I wake each morning) Do you think I should start taking it at 6 p.m. maybe? Maybe stop the MK677? If it's the thing making me tired?

Thanks again for sharing your experiences and offering your advice / suggestions! I really appreciate it.. I needed this especially at this time. I'm having rough thoughts and feelings lately and it's been harder for me than ever before...

MK677 made me so sleepy I could not even get through the day. I took it at night and it still did not help. I had to get off it. I was so tired that I fell asleep at work and could not eat (It's supposed to do the opposite). Took me a few days to feel better after stopping the MK677. The rest of the cycle looks pretty harmless but we all respond differently.

dang you make me want to highly consider just stopping my MK677... I detail vehicles / boats for a living and feeling this tired is truly hindering my work... I was tired today before I even began my one and only detail... it was brutal. I'm going to NOT take this mornings MK677 dose... (I will check back to see what's recommended... I switch it to taking at night... Or just stop it and take that as a lesson learned? Thanks for the reply!

Just stop it and see if that is the culprit. You will only lose a few days doing that anyway so not a big deal.

Oh man, sorry it happened again! You just need to hit a nice rhythm and get some positive experiences rolling in the right place.

First things first, Tarmyg is right. Stop the MK677. OR take it an hour before bed and see if that sleepiness helps you sleep and settles you down. No way in hell could I take 25 mgs of MK and go about my day. So either, give it a rest for a week or two or switch the dosing to nighttime.

Second, I ditched the C pap altogether. Just like you, I couldn’t take that thing on my face and dealing with the hose made my claustrophobia even worse and I would bug out and get anxious at night wearing it. I switched to a mouth guard that helps open the airways and is much easier to wear. I’ll post a picture of what I’m talking about. I was fitted for it at my dentist office by my sleep medicine referral.

I also think we’re on the same page weed wise. The two types do the exact thing to our minds and bodies. I just do better when my body feels so heavy on the indica because the sativa would make my mind race and it would give me anxiety. Like Moose said, maybe try a hybrid?
I like you idea of quitting it though or using it as a reward. I only started using again to help with my appetite from the chemo I was been on. Also found that it was making me sleepy at night so I’ve just stayed with one 10 mg gummy about 2 hours before bed. I get in an extra snack at night and then my eyes get heavy, it’s definitely helped. Sometimes weed makes me feel like I’m tripping though and my heart pounds and I hate the way I feel on it. Absolutely gives me anxiety...

If you think a queen bed would help, I’d try it. Maybe give yourself some time to get acquainted. I’d also google “sleep hygiene” and make sure you’re doing all of the cognitive things you should be doing too. Another option I had luck with is a mediation app on my phone. There’s one called “serenity” in the App Store (it’s free) and I really like it.

Hate that you’re struggling, I get it. I think some deep breathing exercise would help and giving yourself some positive affirmations and getting a few good nights under your belt and establishing some good patterns. I just know that’s helped me immensely.
I’m not 100% yet, but so much better.

Give yourself some grace and make baby steps. It’s a crazy world we’re living in, high stress, new sleeping environment, you’re up against a lot bro.

One day at a time, you got this.

    Here’s my mouth guard

Do you snore??? I got really bad. I had sleep apnea and said no fucking way.... until my wife started sleeping in the other bedroom. I went to Mr O and the peopele in the room next door were pounding on the wall because my snoring was so loud.
I had the test done an I had severe sleep apnea. I stopped breathing 62 times in an hour on my back and 53 times in an hour on my side.
I use the nose piece. I had anxiety at first. The first 2-3 nights, I would take it out after a couple of minutes. Once I was able to relax, I could keep it in all night. I am no longer tired all the time and no snoring. Wifey loves it.
Sleep apnea has many negative effects on your health and increased risks.
Once I saw my results, I knew I had to do something.
