Epidurals are a short term solution to a long term problem. However they can be really helpful to provide that bandaid while you’re performing your PT.
I’ve had plenty in my time. Some have given me relief as long as 6 months, others have me questioning whether or not they actually performed a procedure.
I would look into a different physical therapist as well. I’ve had great ones and ones that I wouldn’t count on to make me a sandwich let alone depend on them for reducing my pain and providing long term relief.
Dry needling, electric stem, acupuncture and cupping have also aided in providing relief, just have to be consistent.
