The real “Who will win?” Thread

Gyms are opening back up.... except Cali..., we are probably in our worst shape ever... there is a lot of shit happening in the world.. it’s time for us to get back to why we are here.... Who is up for a most improved competition ???
It’s a great way to get back into shape, let our political differences aside, and show that we all have something in common.
Muscle memory may make this one of the best competitions yet.
    Who’s in????

    Can u work out?

    How?

I won’t be able to touch a weight for a bit - we’ll see what my next neurologist appointment brings - but, fuck - feel quite well

I’m done bullshitting tho - I came home & gained the 10 Lbs back I lost in ICU - it was well worth it, being refilled with nutrients from steak & mash potatoes < never thought I’d taste real food again

Now my whole diet is tracked - like my meds & BP - I’m not turning into a pile if I can still help it

I will not be entering. I am training for 2021 and I have a great chance to put on a lot of size. Not good for a most improved comp.

I’m lifting again...one plate and dumbbell at a time. I’m my supposed to be strength training but what we all do for exercise isn’t always understood. 20 minutes on a stationary bike 3X a week ain’t gonna cut it.

I’m averaging 12-16 sets per body part and working middle weight range. I get tired really quickly and sweat like I stole something but been getting them in there.

    Slow and steady

I’ve put on about 7 pounds already since I ended chemotherapy and radiation

Jesus! Literally - that’s awesome af

All of our probs are so separate but so intense. In my case - body feels strong, head does not. . . . The Neuro Nurse Practitioner guy who wished he looked like me said - don’t lift shit for close to 2 months. . . He had a guy come back in after lifting his kid’s bike under a month post “procedure” & he felt a snap - that’s the cast placed in the AVM

Ya, know - I don’t mind. My neighbor needed my weights - we have no gyms & currently I rather spend time with my family over lifting weights. . . Still on 250mg test & 100mg of Deca < juice ain’t going nowhere. I’m walking and doing curls with empty hands - I’ll see what my neurologist team says this week

Man, I said this place was the health board - now it’s the recovery support group

This 2020 business, is surely something

    Likewise brother

And, totally - but, I’m quite sure we all have a similar mentality when it comes to our appearance
