Small issue here boys
I have been prescribed a “control substance” by my primary care doctor that I have been on for about 3 years now. I requested a refill the other day and received a call from his office saying that he has not seen me since January and that he would like me to schedule an appointment. I believe doctors are required to see their patients that are on controlled substances every so often.
He knows about my steroid use , he also agreed to not put that in my record and I believe him. He referred me to an Endo when we discovered I had low T, but as of the past few years he has taken that over for me as well... he would prescribe me testosterone and hcg for trt, and Clomid for when my wife and I were ready to have a child. It has been over a year since I was last on Clomid and much longer than that since he has last prescribed me testosterone.
My problem is he wants me to do trt related bloodwork for this appointment... the medication that this appointment is for has nothing to do with testosterone, or anything I would need bloodwork for. I am three weeks in to a test and tren cycle and the last thing I want is a sky high testosterone level in my medical history. I also do not want to pay $150 for bloodwork I do not need. I have brought this up with the staff and they still insist I need to do it. What the hell do I do here guys? And am I right for thinking they are nuts for requesting blood work for medication I’m not even prescribed currently and is completely unrelated to the appointment?

I had an endo appointment on my last tren cycle. I delayed the appointment by a week and dropped everything. My values were all in line two weeks later. I was on Tren-A, Mast-P and my usual Test-E of 250mg per week.

Yeah I kick started with tren a but the cycle is tren e test c and mast e. I really can’t even grasp why they are making me do this blood work in the first place.

This is why I hate Rx’s now
Such a fucking pain. I can’t even get my xAnax prescribed, yet I get Valium that I really don’t like
I just get my own shit from Mexico, since I live 2-3 hours away - it’s annoying, I actually need this shit
Is he doing a hormone panel?
Y?
I hate medical records, I have dodged all of em so far - high ass test, I dunno - I think it’d ring off some bell - maybe

Doesn't matter if it's unnecessary or not.
When you play in the system... you play in the system.
I smoked one joint last year, and my insurance listed me as a smoker.
I'm not a smoker. But I still had to do all the tests if I wanted coverage.
That's just how it is.
What you need to figure out now, is how to get your levels down.
...not whether it's fair or right.

You are playing a game and you need to abide by the rules of your Dr. he has actually been “helping” you play this game.
He is risking his license to give you what you wanted however you now have him possibly hanging out there.
You don’t play by his rules, he may say screw you because you are too risky for him. Look at it from his standpoint.
NOTE: His rules are still way more lax than what you would have to do following the real protocol.

I feel ya. I'm on muscle relaxers and gabapentin for 5 bulging discs and nerve compression. I make my pills last almost double the time ( 6 week supply last 12) I went to pain management once and I got referred to physical therapy. Physical therapy for 7 weeks back got worse to the point I couldn't sit up . I quit going for that reason and now I have to see the neurologist again monday . In my 7 weeks of physical therapy I gained 26pounds ( from not being able to stand long enough to cook) 5 weeks without physical therapy and I lost 29 pounds and I can walk down stairs .
Obama fucked every thing up . I used to get darvocet percs xanax seroquel and es gic plus . Now I gotta nonchalantly ask for pain killers stronger than ibuprofen and act as if I've never had them and say oh I'll probably stay in bed .

Just to reiterate guys- he is not currently prescribing me any trt or hrt medicine. He hasn’t for over a year, hence why having him draw labs for it is completely unnecessary. My appointment was regarding another medication.
I had my appointment and explained this to him, and he didn’t know why his nurse told me I needed labs drawn for a medication I am no longer using, so all is well.
