RIP Alex Trebek
One of my all time favorites. A true gentleman, class act and cancer warrior.
He will be missed...

I’ll check it out.
He was a staple in my house every weeknight at 6, my old man would watch and my sisters and I liked it because we just wanted the TV on. In college I’d always watch and marvel at just how much the contestants knew and as an adult I’d have it on at 6 PM just like my old man. I can probably count on one hand how many times I could correctly answer the final jeopardy question, but it never stopped me from watching.
Alex Trebek was just a constant and I always appreciated his skills as a gameshow host. There was always something special about Jeopardy and the man who hosted it. He captured the spirit of our hearts and sadly his death reminded me of all the good and nostalgia I feel for this country and growing up here...even in these most trying times. I know the world appreciated him too.
I’m sure it sounds silly to read and frankly it’s a little silly to type but the man has been a constant in my living room around dinner time for as long as I can remember.
That’s pretty cool. RIP

I hope they don't get a new host for Jeopardy. It just won't be the same.

Crazy to see these staples of entertainment and TV passing. We all grew up with them. RIP.

No way should be even be mentioned in the same breath as Mr. Trebek.
I posted a link to an article regarding the network’s interest in Ken Jennings...that I could get behind. Even Trebek loved and appreciated him and referred to him as the greatest contestant to ever play the game.

Staple in my home also... he will truly be missed. He supposedly named his choice for a successor privately, that said Ken Jennings and Alex Trebeck became the closest of friends and they had spent a lot of his last days together.
That is what made Trebeck so likeable he was always the same person to everyone always... God bless his family through the tough times.Every man has the ability to be a fool, it is what he does to recover that shows who the fool really is.
