Waking up and seeing the changes in the mirror that seem to be accelerating with each year that passes.
I’m trying to compensate by lowering my expectations and still enjoying AAS and getting in decent workouts. You have to have your mindset & focus right or crap can easily overwhelm you.

I'm only about halfway as far in life as you, but I hope when I'm in my 60's I can look in the mirror and say that my appearance is commensurate with my age. I'm not saying that my inner peace is so vast that I won't dislike the fact that my body is programmed to fall apart and fail with the passing of time, but maybe I can take it all in as part of the package deal of 'life'. We all owe God a death.

Life just keeps getting better to be honest and at no time would I want to trade years and go back in time. It’s just rough sometimes seeing and feeling the physical changes. Although, I believe I’ve been lucky with the changes thus far. But overall, I think I’m finally getting more at peace with them and embracing this aging thing better.

I agree, keeping our head on the game is really important.

Has anyone seen a therapist or a councilor? What are some of your positive experiences with them?

My therapy is going to the gym and lifting weights. It's hard to dwell on shit that depresses you, when you're giving every ounce of physical and mental focus to try to lift some weights. My other therapist is the gun range. I think the key to overcome your obstacles is to have something that consumes your mind, body and soul for at least a little bit of time. Then you can come back to reality refreshed.
