    Damn it........

    ...we lose another great, Louie Simmons.
    There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

    I didn't know much about him, but saw him on the Joe Rogan podcast years ago - RIP. Seems like he was a well respected and accomplished powerlifter.

    He was definitely well known and old school in the PL and BB worlds. Very well known....People either highly regarded his training methodologies or absolutely disagreed, but I think the vast majority respected him.

    He never made it a secret about PED usage or anything. Was always straight up about it. Aside from Arthur Jones, he was probably done of the more innovative machine/equipment designers.

    I’m not sure I would’ve believed this if I hadn’t seen it on Dave Tate’s Instagram. Can’t help feeling for folks like him who knew or were close to both him and John Meadows. That’s a lot within the span of a year.
