    Tonal

Anyone try one of these? I thought of it as a joke, but it came in a house we’re squatting in for a while.

This thing fucking kicked my ass, between it & a treadmill - I’m fucking beat.

The gym is on the same block, but this fucker actually put down some serious resistance.

I was talking crap about it so much when our “lady friend” got it - but, dang - this fucker works

My only “thing” is that I don’t think it’s designed for a weight lifter. It puts up the resistance, that’s for sure - I tried deadlifting about 2 & 1/4 - and that shit feels solid. But, the whole internal pulley & resistance system just can’t take a beating that long

Either way, way more impressive than ever thought

That's an awesome little machine. I'm pretty sure it uses magnets for resistance, much the same way ellipticals work. Should last a good long time, unless something like a cable in the pulley breaks. Just watched a video on it... very high tech. Every attachment (handles, bar) has a button you can press to activate or deactivate the weight so you can get into position (like a bench press) and then activate the weight. Very useful feature. If I didn't have a gym in my garage or didn't have space for a home gym, I would get this.

Video shows the weight feature (7:22):

One arm, one leg & 1st newborn

    3.5k + 50 a month

Our “friend” treats money like it’s no object, so whatevs

But, it kept me sore enough to stay away from the gym for 2 days - even though it’s on the same block

Shit, I’m just fine with going to the gym - but, some folk

I never thought I’d see the day where my once 25k mud shack of a house would be worth 300k+ or, it would cost me 10-20 bucks to drive my tow truck to the gym

    Strange times we’re in

I’d break that thing so fast. Real gym for the win.
