Dying to compete
The article is long as hell (make sure to click and expand) but holy shit some of it was eye opening.
A good reminder of why I’ve never used Clen and try and steer clear of stimulants. I’ll keep it recreational but unreal what it takes to stay at the top.
Be safe fuckers…

I saw that article on Drudge earlier.
I've never used clen , but I've abused the fvuk out of caffeine and DMAA before. The thing with those types of compounds is you develop tolerance really quickly and so these dosages go through the roof.

Hardcore lifestyle. Hardcore article.
My fingers are crossed that I have not done this level of damage to myself, with the moderate dosages of AAS that I have taken.
Best of luck to all of us.

There is so much more to life than bodybuilding. It's sad that people don't wake up until it's too late.

A couple of them broke my heart, they were led astray and abandoned by their coaches. The ones leaving kids behind killed me the most. You’re all spot on

The one that got me was the guy who was managing one of the gyms I go to. I didn't start going to that gym until the lockdown (they moved their equipment outside), so he was already dead. But I swear I've seen him around town before.

Sad so many people have passed away. Scary stuff but thankfully most of us don’t take it to that extreme. I feel like steroids and steroid use has kind of flown under the radar since maybe early 90’s?? Are we all about to go under the microscope??? Are steroids going to be the next big issue like gun control, abortion, etc?

"It's my body, it's my choice!" or something like that... "Honk if you tren !" by the highway overpass.

Fuck! I've been worried about that as well. My son (he's 27) thinks that BB/steroids are still too much of a niche sport for it to get that big. I'm hoping he's correct.

I still think it continues to stay under the radar, not mainstream enough and it’s a small percentage of the population that gets it. There’s just not the same level of attention that comes with the NFL Premiere league, NHL, NBA, golf, tennis or even college athletics. No one really cares if we lose a couple of “meatheads” each year and the only time it gathers attention is if some massive steroid operation is busted. Otherwise it’s just “oh well, someone on steroids died”.
That novelty quickly wears off as soon as there’s a mass shooting, some asshole in politics pipes up or some celebrity does something stupid. Mainstream media is a joke and BB isn’t part of their narrative.
This article was buried is Drudge (nice to know your peruse that site Honkey!).

Yeah, it's a pretty easy to use site to get the list of news articles. I mean you have to take in to account it's bias, but then again all news is pretty much fake anyways. Even when it's a real story the "journalist" intentionally convolutes things in the article or refuses to report facts in order to push their agenda. Regardless of the bias, they all do it.
But anyways. This "outrage" in the media is just going to be shortlived until the next crisis happens. And despite all the drug laws and sports drug testing, it still goes on. The athletes and their coaches are just better at circumventing testing protocols.

I would think when/if teens start becoming a more significant issue & you start to see some deaths. Look how much TRT has gained acceptance. I’m surprised they haven’t made it easier to prescribe HGH for the old timers.
As was mentioned above the average Joe and Jane could care less about knuckle heads hurting themselves for the sake of appearances.

I could be just paranoid but as someone who loves our second amendment and watched guns and gun owners be hung out to dry by the media, and twisted into this evil thing, and then watching most of America be dumb and ignorant enough to believe it, I can’t help but worry.
Like wango said, if teenagers start using aas, it’s going to be all over the place and they are going to ruin it for the rest of us. And god forbid a kid even mentions steroids and then offs himself, like that one kid in bigger faster stronger. Or if a grown man decides he’s had enough of the world and decides to kill himself and his entire family, and they find out he was using, or had used steroids… I’m pretty sure a wrestler did this a while ago?
I was actually just thinking the other day as I placed a fairly large order for myself and didn’t think twice about it because it seems like steroids are the new marijuana- it’s illegal but no one really cares anymore. It just felt like I wasn’t doing anything wrong, even though by law that’s far from the case.

That's what I thought as well. But it turns out Customs didn't get it this time. Someone opened the package, took everything and sent the package on it's way...empty. FedEx received an empty package that they would not send any further as it would "be a waste of resources" for them. That's what I was told by FedEx. Supplier has confirmed and is going to re-send.

Well, I guess I am sort of guilty. Watching your body go through a transformation is remarkable. I will tell you that I was warned about diuretics. If I take them it is like a 1/4 of a tab.
This last year, I was coming into a competition and had an infection in my finger. I had trained a year for this competition. There was no way that I was going to take antibiotics and screw up my physique.
The competition was cancelled the day of the event and I knew that I had to see a Dr. I took antibiotics, competed a week later and did terrible. I was bloated.
I have arythmia so I also need to be careful with stimulants. I have no thyroid so I also need to be careful with that.
I will not take it easy and not compete, but I believe that I do try and be as safe as possible.
I also need cortisone shots in my knees.
I will tell you that I took some Tren base and thought it was all over. I must have nicked a vein. The corner of my eye was burning, the middle of my back was burning, and it felt like I had a lethal injection that was working through my body. It was pretty fucked up.
Will I take it easy- probably not. I want my pro card. That is not going to be my livelihood, but to be able to say that I could get it. I am 56 and have limited time left anyway. No I am not trying to see if I can shorten it, but when the Good Lord calls my number, it is over.
I guess I was too cautious all my life prior to AAS.

Where in hell did you stick that finger? No, don't answer that.
Only item I've used to remove some water was Expel which is OTC. It did help.
Regarding your knees, look into Zilreta instead of regular cortisone. Way better. I get it every 3 months or as needed. Even in the knee that doesn't hurt as I don't want it to feel left out....
I have some tren base but have not used it. Scares me. Similar to my Icarian Single Leg Curl machine that I tore my ham on. It's still in time out. I look at it and sneer.
Pro Card. I feel exactly the same. Seems every year lately I've had an injury or life event that stopped me from trying. I know it's waiting for me. Missing it by one placing a few years ago after less than 7 weeks prep really pissed me off. Seriously considering next year and using a particular trainer for prep. He's also close by so meetings can be in person, not virtual. We'll see....
