Just saw this on FB. Nice 3 month turn around for the combine. The lighting helps a bit.

Right?? Da fuq we all doing on a steroid site talking about whether or not some dude that is clearly a user of some sort of PEDs is really a user of PEDs? Hell, he might be on ALL the PEDs.
We are all users here, men! And we recognize one of us when we see one! Even if he is trying to pass himself off as a normie.
Still, this is the Lounge, so carry on!

I don't believe for a second he's natural either. But if he were to be upfront and honest with everybody, cancel culture would ruin him. Most of his endorsements would go away, bookings would disappear. Then on top of it, you'll have a lot of people who will go on social media and accuse him of being on gear, so he's forced to go and counter that with lies.
I also don't believe a single kid out there is going to be fooled by him and actually believe he's natty. Nor do I think they'd be let down when they realize he's full of shit. Maybe I'm wrong though?

Yeah, but we all know every guy competing in cycling is doing the same shit he's doing. In fact, I'll bet you we can't find a single top 25 cyclist that isn't doing something that they shouldn't. They shouldn't be lying and telling us they're not on gear, but we shouldn't be asking in the first place either.

This, 100x.
What the fvck do we expect out of professional athletes? Be big, be strong, be aggressive but hey whoa now, don't be doing drugs.
I actually read the text of the NFL's 2021 PED policy (I had a long flight). They ban everything. I mean EVERYTHING, test, AAS, peptides, HGH, man, you name it. If it has been discussed on this site in any of the subs, it is probably on the banned list.
But....
They list two different penalty classes: one for testing positive for the substance, another less harsh one for testing positive for masking agents.
So basically, the NFL is doing double talk: don't do drugs, but if you get caught, make sure you are taking a masking agent. An absolute bunch of hypocrites in charge there.

A hell of a read. Tyler was his teammate; lots of specifics including the drugs (some test, but relied on HGH & EPO). Their training and diet regiment to prepare for the Tour is beyond brutal.
And yeah, only way to be competitive at that time was to use. Kind of got the feeling is if Lance spilled the beans, he’d be ratting out everyone.

I don't have any insight into the dosages used by LA and Team Postal (or whoever he was riding with at his pinnacle), as I have never read the book. But I would dissent from buying into LA being concerned in any way with protecting his teammates; he was exposed as being a totally hypocritical, selfish asshole, who looked, upon being caught out, like he wished he could sink into a crack in the floor, while giving an interview, that I saw on television...
I understand his dilemma at the time of his vehement denials; fess up and be exposed and stripped of his accolades and awards, or put your back against the wall, cock it and rock it, and empty the magazine; he put himself in a no win situation by aggressively going after anyone who accused him of being unclean. When the bough broke and his cradle fell, it came crashing down in a crescendo of destruction, which progressed quite rapidly in the destruction of the LA "dynasty" which he worked so hard to create. Watching from afar, I as an AAS user myself; I could feel for the guy. The tragedy compounds itself due to cycling being, from what I have heard, a dirty sport which is rife with PED usage; a sport which perhaps rivals even that of bodybuilding (again, as I have read).
My personal take on all this testing is this: Institute 2 classes of competition. One class which is clean, and the other where the philosophy is "it's your body, your risk". I understand the practical difficulties of such a proposal, along with the inherent risk of corrupting our youth, our young athletes... But I think that this would alleviate a high percentage of the headaches and controversies that we see with the current state of athletics.

Oh, the book was scathing with regard to his personality and how he treated others particularly his teammates. And, if you spoke negatively about LA, he arranged to make life very difficult for you as he was a vindictive mf’r. Including the author of that book. I 100% agree, he is one of the world’s biggest a-holes.
I ain’t defending him, just saying maybe he didn’t want to invalidate what others did, that is, further destroy the diminishing reputation the sport, the Tour and all it’s participants. I don’t recall the reasoning he came to in a recent documentary.
I could care less about biking, never saw a race in my life (and don’t intend to), but that book was an amazing read as to the torture these guys put themselves through. Plus some nice specifics about drugs & dosages.

I'll bet you a million dollars the NFL's "random" testing isn't so random. I'll bet you the players that move the most merch and draw the most eyes on the games are being tested far less than 2nd string linemen. I also wouldn't be surprised if they're getting heads up of when they're going to be tested so that they can prepare for it.

Man, there may not be any such thing as a true "sure thing", but I believe that is as close as anyone can get.
I mean, high profile guys like Brady, Mahomes, Brees, Manning (at the time) etc... those guys don't just bounce back from injuries without the help of ALL the drugs. Especially
not the older players. Yet they almost never get popped. Hmmmm

That vertical from a stand-still (how it’s measured in the combined), is in the high 50’s to low 60’s, going by the white letters behind him. This athletic freak’s standing vertical is an impressive 40”. The highest verified standing vertical that I would trust is 50” by a Cuban volleyball player. This vid was played and scrutinized endlessly when it was released weeks back. DK himself admitted the footage is doctored. That said, the dude is a f’n freak of nature.

He's definitely not natty. One could get away with claiming that in their 20's and 30's but the guy is in his 50's. NO WAY.

He is 50 years old and is more jacked than 99% of the people half his age. He looks amazing and rather youthful. Whilst he trains hard and eats clean he is one of the most genetically gifted people out there. He has been training since he was about 13. So nearly 40 years.

The ironic thing is he is now being sponsored by a TRT clinic. So he takes their money but not their product?
