He says ESTROGEN is anabolic (in the presence of testosterone )....that's a true fact. Not sure where the issue is here? These facts don't mean that you're estrogen can't get too high, but personally I have very little to zero negative effects from high estrogen. It should be thought of as a ratio between test/estrogen that you want to keep similar. Not absolute numbers. When your test is 4000, your estrogen can be much higher than "normal" without any deleterious effects.

I think people put way too much effort in to avoiding soy or believing that soy is going to turn them in to a woman. Now is it good for building muscle? There are plenty of articles on the internet that say soy is great for building muscle.

I've also seen an article it says there is no significant difference in muscle growth in a 12 week study between soy or whey
    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7312446/

To me, fearing a little jump in estrogen is ridiculous. I made some of my best gains when I wasn't using any sort of SERM or AI and was running high on estrogen. But that's anecdotal.

I think the real issue is that regardless of if you're eating whey or soy. they're good for supplementing your protein intake. Your best sources are going to come from actual food.

I'll add this to it. If you want a good source of protein, get a pound of those pre-cooked cocktail shrimps from the meat counter at the grocery store. You can saute them or eat them cold, it'll give you something like 92 grams of protein, they're easy to digest and it's not satisfying (meaning a good half hour later you'll be hungry again).
