    Computer help!

    Why cant I take a print screen of a real media clip?? Its bugging me
    When I take the print screen and paste it into photoshop the realplayer window is just blank.

    just pressing the print screen button on the keyboard. everything shows upp in the picture except the file viewed with realplayer

    Shit I had this same thing happen.... I'm trying to remember how i fixed it. Try it with the video full screen and then try it with it 200% or whatever. I think that might have been it. It pissed me off though.

    very generally and from what i can remember...here is the explaination:

    there is this conceptual thing called a video overlay provided by your video card. for performance reasons, computers draw things like digital video to the video overlay. when you take a screen shot, the pixels are read from the normal video buffer and not the video overlay buffer.

    i forget the actual names of all the devices and buffers, but thats basically what happens.

    Tried it with all sized but could not get it to work

    Clockworks so you mean its impossible to do it? Atleast without different software.

    i dunno what to do about it...i just know what causes it...=) i'm sure there is some special software that can prolly do what you wanna do.

    I think you need to save the video file to disk, then open it with a video editing program if you want a still cap from it.

    Tried to open it with adobe premiere but it could not open real media files. Any suggestion on what editing program might work??
