    Starting your own trt clinic

So let’s say yourself or someone you know is a medical professional and you want to start your own trt/“anti aging” type clinic. I think we’re a little late to the party as it seems this has gotten quite popular over the past few years. But, it seems like a fairly easy way to make a living and be able to work for yourself. Judging by how most of these places operate, you wouldn’t even need an office. You basically just do telehealth visits with the patient, send them a script for bloodwork, prescribe medications as needed, and do routine follow-ups.

Has anyone here done this or know someone who’s done this and could give some additional info/insight and tips? Obviously having a solid website/online presence would be key, but I feel just going around to every gym in the area and posting flyers would be a great start.

Just off the top of my head, the way I would go about doing this if I wanted to was first get some investors to build a secure website and apps for Android and iOS devices. Next, I would try to look around for MDs that are ready for retirement, but wouldn't mind working a few hours per week doing online/tele appointments. You'd also need to get some insurance coverage.

And before you do anything, including looking for investors, I'd suggest having a few meetings with lawyers to find out exactly what the law is in regards to setting up a business of this nature.

But yeah, as far as the apps alone, I'd expect a $20k-$300k investment depending on complexity of the app. And since there are things such as money exchanging hands and specific individual's medical information being transferred across it, security is going to be a real issue.

Plus, you're also going to need to figure a way to handle customer service too for the problems that will end up happening on that end.

The late to the party part is the most negative I see. Now darn near any PCP will prescribe test & there are a ton of these so called clinics. Reminds me of when weed needed an RX in AZ

But, I’m not saying there isn’t money to be made. Look at the world around us, idiots get rich from the dumbest ideas & the hard working are treated like slaves.
