    Thumbs up Oz

Does anyone know if any of the seasons of Oz (the prison show, not the wizard of) have been released on DVD? I think I've seen every episode but always in the wrong order.

Yep, go to Costco or Future Shop and they have the complete first 2 seasons on DVD / Video. One of my favorite shows of all time. Fontana and his writing team went on a killing spree in the last few episodes leading up to the series finaly.

    Cool, thanks Pete.

I've never seen King Pin, although I've heard a lot about it.

I always see King Pin at the rental place I go to and never grab it. I guess now I will.

My friend was one of the camera men on OZ. When we all would get together he would show us all the raw footage of the show.... pretty cool. The one he's been working on for awhile is NYPD Blue.... great TV show.

Oz was decent before they turned it into queer as folk... gross. Seriously, i've never seen prison so grossly exagerated before in my life, it was a big orgy where the WORST of the prison were segragated from others into a special privledge area. Shit when i went in i was in iso for a month.

Anyway, yeah you can get it on DVD. Check ebay for cheap prices sometime.

    Definitely Costco IMHO.

I liked it for the first bit too...but it got to over the top.

A little side note for Pete...Trailer Park Boys is the best...Ricky is bar non my fav character.

HBO turns out nothing but brilliant shows. sad that Oz is over but at least there's gonna be a 6th season of The Sopranos!

btw no idea what Oz costs at costco but you can get each seasons dvd for $48 at deepdiscountdvd.com with free shipping. they also have the entire collection dvd for like $120.
