Just came out of it... and it was pretty much what I expected, which isn't a bad thing at all! If you like the genre, go see it, it's surprisingly enjoyable. It takes all the cliches of the 80's horror and slasher movie, uses them, makes fun of them, gives you lots of blood, and you also get two unkillable monsters beating the crap out of each other. What's not to like?

If you're not a fan of the genre, I don't know if I'd bother. But if you like these kind of movies, go for it.

My favorite line/sequence, just for the total randomness: "Got your nose!"

I was going to go see it on the premier night at midnight only I am post surgery and needed to stay home. I grew up with Freddy. Jason was a bit before my time. I like Scary movies in general.

Sneakerseven its funny that you said your favorite line was "got your nose" cause I had surgery for a deviated septum......would have been funny for me to see that. Anything with the nose makes me cringe right now.

The septum was due to being Italian Related! I've never even seen coke or Meth. I've had this problem for years. Today I feel like a teen breathing like a Newbie.
I agree, Freddy needs to get on a new cycle if her hope to best good ole' Jason. He is just too dam Skinny.

I loved this shit! Tons of violence, hot chicks, blood, and Jason is just the shit. Freddy was also pretty coolbut kind of a pussy in this one. Good shit! Go see it if you get the time its well worth it in my opinion.

saw it last nght. it was fuggin hiliarious. me and the people could not stop laughing. seriously...whoevers seen it or wo has seen it one word...maybe two?? "Everclear" i wouldnt pay to watch it again, but it was aright

It was good fun. Nice and campy, with lots of boobs tossed in for good measure. One of Freddy's lines in the movie was priceless too (you'll see).

i liked it. i'm a fan of jason though. he's a cold blooded killer (while freddy is more of a prankster). jason is huge, brutal, doesn't speak, moves very slowly, and is all about business.

good movie if you are into violence and stereotypical slasher movies. oh yeah, every girl in the movie has HUGE boobs...=)

on a side note, freddy kills 4 people while jason kills over 20 i think (oh, gotta love the rave scene)...>=)

Need I add that it was also the number one movie in America last weekend? That's a pretty solid accomplishment for what is really a "cult film" in most respects.

They explained it in the movie..I think when Jason drowned as a kid during camp, the teenagers who were suppose to be supervising were having sex.
