    how can i configure internet options to get rid of a proxy?

    i have aol browser.

    if I am not mistaken you open your browser then go to the tool bar menu and then select options. Under options you should have a proxy settings options.

    IE Explorer:

    Tools---> Internet Options ---> Connecitons ---> LAN Settings... uncheck proxy server.

    Must be similar in AOL

    i already did that. it didn't work. i don't have a high speed hook up.
