What kind of shoes do you wear out clubbing/bar?

Just wanting to know whats in style now, i never really pay attention to what everyone is wearing now. I was thinking about buying a pair of Dr. Martin's.

Doc Martins ? IMO those are way out of style.

Gotta go with somethin fly - square toe is tight. I love Kenneth Cole.

If it's more of a chill bar (inside / outside) you can get away with sandals. I like to sport the jeans with sandals and a button up long sleeve (rolled up) look.

depends on the occasion....formal = Versace, dance club = Born, chillin' bar = whatever i feel like, but i always try and avoid standing in urine with expensive shoes

i'll tell you what i'm lookin into gettin for some chill shoes also, is a pair of Bostonians - the one's that are like a dress shoe, but have no back on them. basically slip ons.

I would never wear Kenneth Cole to go clubbing. I guess you don't dance. Sneakers all the way if you're going to be dancing for hours. Diesel sneakers are nice, stylish yet comfortable.

    Kenneth Coles for me also.
U can usually find them on sale for $70-90 for a good pair.
And once you break em in they're pretty comfortable.

I dont conform. Country bars: vans or converse, with kackis and a nice dress shirt. Actually any club is that way. Docs were nice a couple years ago. I think I will check into those shoes mentioned above. Was actually wondering the same question.
Vans and converse are nice to dance in though

I wear rattle snake loafers when i go to the clubs...and I dance, I've also worn K.C.s to clubs...and I still danced.. Weird..

Dude, KC has comfortable shoes, as does Steve Madden, Diesel and so on.

Steve's and Diesels are sick for the bars but I like the more dressy square toed or some fancy-shmancy ish for the "clubs".

I guess it depends on what kind of place you're going to. I'm not going to wear $200 shoes to a dirty dance club where I know people will step on my feet and ruin them. I'd go with something comfortable and cheap.

    I'm white. Of course I don't dance.

The KC's also give me and extra inch and a half on height, which makes me look a towering 6'4". Babes can't stay away. Dudes won't dare come near.

Also, if you're dancing and you've got people stepping all over your feet - you might want to consider finding another date or another place to get your groove on.

I'm not into the Kenneth Cole look. I'll either wear some Doc Martin boots (I got this new style they make) or sneakers. Right now, I'm sporting Air Force Ones, the new Ken Griffey Jrs, and a couple pairs of nike shox. (I like nikes!) I wear Bostonian wing tips all day at work...that's enough dress shoes for me!

Too high for me. Too much of a boot. You can get some low cut ones that look just the same with some boot cut jeans.

    What I usually wear:
    For casual places: sandals/flip-flops
Semi-Casual: Docs, Kenneth Cole, Skechers, Steve Madden
Dressy: Johnston and Murphy, or Prada (I got a pair of these from Italy...ass-expensive but awesome).

I'd wear something similar to what Pump posted if I was going to a regular bar, but some of the "clubs" I go to won't even allow u in if you have on boots or sneakers.

Sweet jumping baldheaded palomino I'm behind the times...........good thing I can't dance, I've two left feet and being white handicaps me even more. Not to mention I couldn't tell you the last time I was in a bar. Ha

Pumpseeker, I like those boots......I'll have to find a pair. I have a nice pair that go great with jeans as well but I've been looking for something else. Those just might make it into my closet. (a new pair, not yours)

Come on be honest you guy's are sporting six inch heels when ya'll go out. J/J

Well since the bar is one of my workplaces, I wear a pair of Danner Strikers or a pair of black casual athletic shoes. You gotta go practical, comfortable and stylish. And in that order, when the shit hits the fan black shoes always come out unscathed.

Hell yeah kenneth cole. I'm a more relaxed type. Light pants, tan suede Kenneth Cole sneaks.

For fancy shoes i got Cole Haan. Square toe is fading out. You can tell because ladies fashion is going pointy, and mens always follows a year or two after. i'd say go conservative so they still look good in a year.
